I drove an hour and a half to the Mercedes dealership in Gainesville although I purchased my Mercedes recently at Wesley Chapel. I was so unimpressed with Wesley Chapel and I was advised to take my business Gainesville although I purchased my Mercedes recently at Wesley Chapel. I was so unimpressed with Wesley Chapel and I was advised to take my business and service needs to Gainesville. I’m so glad I did Because nobody could help me fix my Apple airplay feature in my car. I had called Mercedes.me and the Wesley Chapel dealership service department and nobody could help me. When I arrived at Gainesville, I was greeted by an attendant and was quickly introduced to my service representative. The service representative was very kind and was trying to figure out what was wrong. So he asked Charlie to help me. Charlie quickly knew what the problem was and within 10 minutes I was able to sync my phones music apps. Charlie explained what no manual or certain service person would know about subscribing to the Wi-Fi service or turning off the Wi-Fi on my phone in order to playback my music. It is something that you have to know , how the systems work. Sadly, Mercedes manual does not explain this. Charlie was so courteous and helpful and I would like to continue to bring my car there for service. I’ll be at, Charlie is one of the sales representatives yet he knew something that most service representatives don’t know About my car. I may even be interested in returning to Gainesville to purchase another Mercedes. Thank you, Charlie. You’re a great guy and I look forward to doing more business with you. More

Incompetent and unresponsive is how I'd describe MB of Gainesville. On 10/31/24 I brought my car in to have the oil changed and about an hour later, when I was driving, the check engine light suddenly cam Gainesville. On 10/31/24 I brought my car in to have the oil changed and about an hour later, when I was driving, the check engine light suddenly came on, the stop/start function no longer worked (not even the green light was on) and other engine functioned stopped working. I immediately called Zo Strickland, the service advisor, to tell him what happeded and he said he would get a loaner ready. It's been 2 days, I've made 4 calls, and sent 2 texts, but still haven't heard back. Incredibly, this hasn't been an isolated event of incompetence and unresponsivenes at MB of Gainesville because on 4/20/24, I brought my car in for service and they charged me $157 for a complimentary brake inspection (clearly stated on their invoice) which I had to fight to get back. The same happened on 2/18/24 when they charged me $195 for complimentary services (clearly stated on their invoice) that I had to fight to get refunded. I would absolutely not recommend having your car serviced at MB of Gainesville.😡 Their sales department incessantly hammers you with follow up calls if you are interested in buying a new car, but the service department? You guessed it..incompetent and unresponsive! More
Mercedes-Benz of Gainesville needs a new mechanic. I was traveling from SC to Tampa and heard a vibration noise repeatedly. I diverted to MB Gainesville to make sure it wasn't a tire that might blow w I was traveling from SC to Tampa and heard a vibration noise repeatedly. I diverted to MB Gainesville to make sure it wasn't a tire that might blow while traveling on the highway. The assistant service manager Rebecca "Becky" was very nice and understanding. The mechanic misdiagnosed my issue by saying that it was not only the clutch torch but also, I needed a new transmission because my car shook violently (which it did not). He gave me an ultimatum of a new transmission for over $12,000 or trade my car in with MB Gainesville. I left and when I got back to SC, I took my car to the Mercedes-Benz Dealership in my hometown that I have used and trust. They said I did not need a new transmission. One of the mounts was loose and needed replacing and I needed a new clutch Tork less than $5,000 and a percentage off for having to deal with the rip off mechanic at MB Gainesville. I'll be shouting from the rooftop not to ever take your car to Gainesville especially if you are venerable traveling. The great big fat topper to this story is that my father died on October 3, 2023, and left me this Mercedes. A week after the awful experience, MB of Gainesville sends me an advertisement email wishing me a Happy Father's Day and trying to sell me stuff. What a joke! My own MB dealership never does that. I think they understand after thousands of dollars spent with them, if I want to buy a stupid candy jar or hat, I can probably make that decision on my own. Becky should run from this place! More

I was told I needed a new engine car wasn't brought in due to AAA JUMPING THE CAR THEN IT Wouldn't accept the key phob. a new batter in the car and phob nothing. .Wasn't there a hour. I get a call saying engine seized .They tried to turn the engine right and left I was told by the man I left it with took my keys. .not supposed to turn it left... $13500 they said for a new engine. Could not tell me why .or how engine seized said had 3 quarts to much oil. In it . I only had the car 5 months hadn't put 1500 miles on it . I felt it was the security system. Because it kept saying wrong key. I had it towed elsewhere I had a bag taken from the car they refuse to talk to me Tyler keeps saying he will have someone call.nothing . He will get with the gm . Or when the gm looks at it.. they could care less . My car needed a transmission from the torque converter that wasn't mechanical failure. But we're it was manually turned or tried to turn it broke a piece in there and had to replace the transmission if they did their due diligence they would had known. But it was a older Mercedes so I was discriminated and my car or myself was not given the proper respect. My started also was burned up due to continuing nothing to start it. More

GARY MARTIN Mercedes Product Specialist/Business Manager is a total scamer, his EGO will be detrimental to his carreer, he's unethical, lacks morals, and will deliberately misinform you, it's sad that Mercedes-Benz will let a guy like GARY MARTIN represent them, he wears a suit but lacks class in business practice, in fact so shady I was forced to submit a complaint to The Consumer Services Division & Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. I advise all my readers to NOT PURCHASE the First Class Protection Program Warranty from GARY MARTIN(Mercedes-Benz Gaisnville). It's a scam!! plenty of warranties that'll provide the same coverage for a much lower price. Once again DON'T PURCHASE THE FIRST CLASS PROTECTION PROGRAM WARRANTY FROM MERCEDES-BENZ it's a SCAMM!!! the warranty is over priced & will not cover most of the claims you submit, if you ask for a refund they will take months to refund your funds back. My experience with the product & service from GARY MARTIN of Mercedes-Benz Gainsville has caused so much regret that I replaced my Mercedes-Benz vehicle to Range Rover simply because the service is much better, much more ethics & class. More
