First contact with service department personnel was very welcoming. BUYER BEWARE! ! I purchased a "certified preowned" vehicle from MB of Fort Lauderdale, only to find out months later that the odometer was fraudulently dialed back. ! I purchased a "certified preowned" vehicle from MB of Fort Lauderdale, only to find out months later that the odometer was fraudulently dialed back. The car has twice the mileage as what was reported. The car was damage and now not drivable. The sales manager was rude and dismissive to me when I attempted to get a resolution. I am forced to resort to arbitration to resolve this matter and what is unbelievable, the dealership has not attempted to reach out to me and resolve this issue and do the right thing. More

Unfortunately I do not recomend you at all this dealer, also Mercedes Benz is a big dissapointed to me, as user for many years of MB and Audi, the difference in the service is hughe. I felt at thise dealer absolutely ignored or missvalued inmediately after bouth the car.. not a cheap car, a 150K AMG V8 Biturbo GLE 63 S Coupe... I had problems from the very fist minute after receiving the car with nobody explaining the car features to my wife, like if we bought a standard car with nothing to exaplin about... later factory details weren´t checked by the dealers team or QC at MB itself... but I can understand some problems and after many discussions with their aftersales team close the issue... but a week later, an alarm of the engine came up on the dashboard and there start again a unsolved history... The car has not became 6 months old and my wife been 5 times to the dealer for the same alarm!!! once they took the car 2 weeks and the day after we take it our the alarm came up again!... they don´t care, just tell you "bring the car please", and you need to left your life to bring the car to the dealer, wait the time they have a mule car (some times we need to wait a couple of weeks with the new car, remember 150K USD, with the alarm on the engine on!!!) after a few days come to look it up again... and this repeated 5 times in 6 months!!! so, they had our car more time than us yet!!! My question is : How much value a car with an engine alarm come out every month, almost ZERO, who will buy it? Can I sell it at any price? I've paid 150K USD for a car with no value? How much time I need to lose for MB to solve the matter, even if they need to change the entire motor? The brand image values nothing to them yet? I've requested several times to talk to the General Manager, I would like to have his opinion... is he aware of this situation? Just don´t care? At this time (the 5th my wife bring the car there, nobody call me from the managmente team... 19/2/2024) More
