I brought my 2020 GLB 250 in for Service B and was shocked to learn that my pre-paid maintenance plan had “expired”! I have bought four MBs and have always purchased the maintenance package at the time of purchase. Because of the pandemic, my driving miles were reduced significantly and by the time I reached 20,000 miles after three years had expired, I was denied the service I paid for in 2020. In other words, I paid for three service visits at time of purchase but MB only honored ONE visit. The pre-paid plan cost approximately $1,500 so that means MB kept approximately $1,000 for no service. Obviously I won’t be purchasing anymore pre-paid service plans from MB. By the way, I never received any notification that my plan was going to expire; however, I receive numerous notifications that my vehicles require service. Obviously I’m very disappointed in this practice and will consider this episode when in the market for my next new vehicle. More
