Service Adviser Training Needed My husband usually deals with the car maintenance. We have been coming to this dealer for the past 3 to 4 years. The service adviser Tom Tipton was n My husband usually deals with the car maintenance. We have been coming to this dealer for the past 3 to 4 years. The service adviser Tom Tipton was not our usual service advisor. He was extremely rude to me by suggesting I was lying about calling the dealer all week to get in for an appointment to get this part installed. I’ve dealt with him once before and because I am a female he was talking down to me like I didn’t know nothing about my car maintenance. He also gave me an attitude after checking the system and saw that my last visit was August of 2017 for the regular maintenance. I told him that my service was not due yet according to the on board computer and no reason to bring it in. This issue with the vehicle was due to when I took my car to get detailed at a car wash they accidentally broke this part and were paying to get it fix. Mr. Tipton was also extremely rude ro Alberto a manager from Downtowner car wash who stated he will make his own complaint. I believe this will be my last time dealing with this dealer or with this very unprofessional service adviser. More
Recurring problem with Eco not turning the engine off. I have had my car in for service multiple times because the engine doesn't shut off while on the Eco setting. After each service, the car is fixed,but I have had my car in for service multiple times because the engine doesn't shut off while on the Eco setting. Courteous and punctual I was given a loaner car that was a newer model of my present car. That was VERY important to me because I was able to drive it comfortably. My Mistake "no problem" I am from out of town working hurricane assistance. I scheduled an appointment online for a Tuesday and then mistakenly put it on my calendar for Wed. When I showed up they did not know who I was because I missed my appointment the day before. They took it in stride. I travel extensively and rarely have time to mess with care appointments. Will Grigg found me a loaner car on no notice and then went way beyond the call to ensure my car would be ready in two days before my next trip. He even arranged to have my car dropped off at my house when they were finished. I've been a 20 year loyal customer and even know MB of Naples and MB of Bonita Springs are closer to my house, I always drive to MB of Fort Myers, because the service is just that much better. More
