Took car in for "B" service on 04/04/2022. On inspection, a number of things were discovered that required immediate attention. And while I didn't notice the issues with driving, I knew that, On inspection, a number of things were discovered that required immediate attention. And while I didn't notice the issues with driving, I knew that, if true, the issues that the mechanics found would ultimately result in significant problems not too far down the road. Naturally, I was mortified at the cost of the discovered issues requiring repairs (engine mounts; worn drive belts and tensioner; re-seal front upper timing cover, magnets; O-rings and bolts) in addition to the normal service (oil change, replace transmission fluid and filter, etc.). I was not prepared to pay $6,000.00 for repairs on a vehicle with only 45K miles and routinely serviced! I balked and challenged the veracity of the needed repairs as a matter of principle. The service manager invited me in to discuss the repairs and to visually inspect the engine and engine housing so as to ease my mind (I am one that needs to see before I can believe. So often companies take advantage of their unsuspecting customers ignorance and, consequently, tend to price gouge -- giving "caveat emptor" new meaning!!). Having visually inspected the discovered issues and comparing them to the videos taken by the service personnel and my own photos prior to taking the car in for service, I felt better about the repairs needed (though this did not decrease my anxiety about the unexpected cost of the repairs) and reluctantly, though understandingly, approved the work. I am appreciative of the patience and empathy of the Service Department Manager and the supporting personnel. I look forward to many years of doing business with you guys. My only hope is that Mercedes/Daimler-Benz will return to building cars as sound as the Mercedes Benz fleet of the 60s and 70s. Those cars were tanks and soundly built! Been to this dealer 4 times with the same problem, each time they changed something, the last time they kept my car for 12 days and I still have the same issue. I bought a 2022 E450 Cabriolet about a 2 months ago. I would have expected a call from the sales person Grant to see how things were going with the car. If I could give them a 0 star review, I would. We were on vacation and had been looking for a new car so we decided to stop by before going to the airport. We ended up finding a car we liked and decided to purchase it. While we love the car, this has been the biggest hassle with the worst customer service ever. Problem 1 - They told us they could only put a certain amount for a down payment on our credit card but that we could send a check when we got back to lower the monthly payments. When we called to see where to send the check to, not only was Phillip K extremely RUDE but he basically called us liars and said that he never said that and he would never say that and we were wrong. This was after he refused to answer our emails or phone calls. We just happened to get him one day when he picked up. He would cut us off and didnt want to help at all. Luckily the people at Mercedes Benz Financial helped us and told us where to send it and apologized for Philip's HORRIBLE Customer service. Problem 2 - They were told to put both names on the application but they didn't and only put one. Since we are financing it this has become a big mess with the DMV and we were not able to get the tags switched properly. We tried contacting them like the DMV and Mercedes Benz Financial advised us to but they refuse to talk to us. We started with Grant (the person who sold us the car), Phillip (the finance manager that worked with us) and when that didn't work, we started copying Aaron W and Jeff Gann. Jeff is the Manager and he couldn't even respond to ONE of our many emails. So, unless you are looking to have a huge hassle on our hands, be talked to like your stupid, or just be ignored, I would not recommend this dealership. More
