They assured me that although I was buying used it was of the best quality! John took extra time to work with me. And Dave went above and beyond to help me get everything I needed together for the financing. I was treated as well as someone buying a $100k new Mercedes, when actually I was buying a 7k Mercedes-Benz. They also lowered the asking price to match the NADA value in the car. I will definitely make this my first choice when I look to buy another vehicle! I can’t say enough great things. I actually contacted 3 Mercedes-Benz dealerships in the area. Farmington has the best customer service as well as warranty! I had piece of mind buying a car that I knew the dealer would stand behind! More

Initial customer service was great but after the sale We purchased a 2010 Audi Q5 and Jessica was our salesperson. Mercedes Benz of Farmington really does make you feel like a valued customer and I would say that's probably the case with most customers. Jessica was great through the whole process of the sale. She's knowledgeable about German makes and made the buying process very easy. My disappointment started after the sale about 3 days later when I noticed the Ami MDI (Adapter to connect my iPhone to the audio system) wasn't connecting and that there might be a short in the cable. I emailed Jessica and asked her about it and when I could bring it in since I was told at closing that I had 30 days or 1,000 miles bumper to bumper warranty should anything go wrong with the vehicle. Jessica didn't email me back but emailed my wife and asked her to relay the message that the audio technicians could look at it but they would have to charge me because audio wasn't included in the warranty. I wish she would have told me that when we closed on the car. After watching a few videos on Youtube I was able to fix the problem myself and found a replacement cable on Amazon for $12. Two days after that I noticed the vehicle was pulling heavily to the right with the alignment. I called the service desk and Bryan was awesome he had me bring in the car and the alignment was way off and they worked on it and made some adjustments. My concern is that Jessica had just told us about the rigorous 100+ point inspection they do when we purchased the vehicle and so I trusted in them that the alignment would be current. Thanks though to the service techs they were very helpful. Two weeks later the vehicle started to pull again to the right. At this time Jessica had left a voice message with my wife that the license plates were in. My wife called her back and let her know about my frustrations and that I was coming back in to have the alignment worked on again. Jessica said she'd make sure to address my concerns when I came in and that she'd coordinate with the service department to have them put the plates on as well. I took the car in and Bryan again was awesome and worked on the vehicle again and had to do some tire rotations as well. I didn't get to talk to Jessica nor did she approach me on that visit so I don't know if her intent to address my concerns was through the service techs and not through her actually talking to me? As I left the dealership and got home I realized the plates hadn't been put on the vehicle. I had already been in twice in the last three weeks to the dealership and had taken work off so I emailed Jessica and let her know that the plates didn't get put on and if she'd just mail them to me. Her response was "oh of course, I'll send them out." I think we understand that none of us are perfect but a simple apology would have gone a long way for the inconvenience. Jessica responded additionally that because she is not over in service she wasn't there to verify the plates were installed and that she would speak with the service team about it because of the mishap. The issue wasn't the service team not putting on the plates. They were great and I think Jessica should have just taken responsibility that it didn't happen as she was the one that said it would get done. Lastly, I received my plates in the mail and I had requested the "In God We Trust" plates. I had told Jessica during the buying process that I absolutely don't like the "Life Elevated Arches" plates and that if they weren't available then I wanted the "Life Elevated Skier" plates. Well my first choice weren't available and so I got the ones I specifically said I didn't want and now I'll need to take some more time off work and go to the DMV and pay some money to swap them out. This has been my car buying experience post closing of the sale somewhat disappointment. In summary I feel Mercedes Benz puts forth a honest effort to provide a good experience for their customers and maybe Jessica was just having a few bad weeks like we all do sometimes and as a result did make my experience a little less than satisfying. I would still recommend the company but I would feel more inclined to actually consult the service department for a second opinion to do another inspection on the vehicle before I sign on the line. Disappointing Used Car Experience at an Import Dealership I set a nationwide search for a very specific vehicle, and I was thrilled when I found a match that happened to be arriving at a dealership that I hav I set a nationwide search for a very specific vehicle, and I was thrilled when I found a match that happened to be arriving at a dealership that I have driven past a hundred times while visiting family. My first hesitations with the dealership happened when I was dealing with David Trujillo who was somewhat pushy in getting a deposit on a vehicle he didn't even have on his lot. Jon Barber was my sales advisor, and he assured me if the car had anything less than what they thought, I would be refunded. So, I put a bravely put a deposit on a vehicle that they hadn't even seen. Fast forward through making a decision and deciding with purchasing the vehicle. I told for about 36 hours that my car was ready to be picked up by the truck that was going to transport it to me and was all but told it was scheduled to be picked up on one evening only to find out it did not in fact get picked up. The only reason my car arrived quickly was because the driver of the truck (after it finally got picked up) was trying to beat a winter storm on his way home to the East Coast. This was a minor annoyance, but there were greater disappointments in the transaction. In retrospect I realize the sale was set up poorly. First of all, I live out of state. My temporary tag expired 03/10/2018. On 03/07, I still had not heard from Linda in titling that my paperwork had been sent to the DMV, nor had I received any paperwork. I called Linda, whose only job is properly titling vehicles, and she overnighted my paperwork to me, which I walked to the DMV on 3/9. While at the DMV, I had the surprise finding that no one (not Jon, not Linda, not David) did any work in setting up the purchase of my car to look up my local sales tax rate. A simple Google search provides the proper sales tax rate. This missing step meant I got to write a surprise check for $1200, which was disappointing. I called the dealership after registering my vehicle to ask how a sales tax can be underestimated by $1200, and David Trujillo proceeded to condescend me and make excuses about his staff. He wouldn't acknowledge that his staff messed up, nor would he validate my disappointment in the transaction. I thought I was finally done dealing with this dealership, but I received a surprise letter on 3/26 from my state DMV stating they were missing a very important reassignment of title document. The only 2 5-star people at this dealership are Diane, who answered the phone when I called and Dave Laccoarce who assured I would thankfully not have to deal with David Trujillo again. I was incredibly frustrated, and Dianne was a professional saint who made sure I could talk to someone that wasn't David Trujillo or Jon Barber or Linda. Dave called me and admitted the sale wasn't set up well and that none of what I mentioned above should have ever happened. It was late in the evening when we talked, but he was very adamant he would handle the situation and I trusted him. He called me the next morning and emailed me a copy of the missing document and apologized again for the hassle of doing business with them. Dave noted that my account had mentioned that they called my local DMV to do a line by line tax assessment -- on 3/9. It was done after I had called them to inquire about my sales tax surprise. I will never ever work with this dealership again, nor will my family that lives super close to them. David Trujillo was more interested in my step-father's car (my step-dad took him for a test drive in HIS car when my step-father went to look at my car) than he ever was in being helpful. Jon Barber just seemed incredibly inexperienced and everything I would expect in a car salesman. It was a superficial experience and all he wanted was another sale. David Trujillo is also incredibly inexperienced in the industry and really has no idea how to relate to customers. I'm incredibly grateful for Dianne and Dave who were more like what I would expect to deal with at a Mercedez-Benz dealership, and I am more than pleased with their customer service experience. More
