Honest Service! I have had service done in both the SF Bay Area and EDH Mercedes Benz Dealerships with various vehicles over the past years. I use to have the same SA I have had service done in both the SF Bay Area and EDH Mercedes Benz Dealerships with various vehicles over the past years. I use to have the same SA in SF for over 10+ years, but he has since retired, but was on point every time. However, since he has left, I have had several different advisors over the years, none of which I have has much confidence in. My service advisor (Daniel C) in EDH has been very helpful and just down right honest. No unnecessary service charges. Only recommendations. Which I must say in recent experience in SF that was not the case. I have a G-wagon, which poses many challenges at time with parts being on hand. He has accommodated me every time with the most practical and speedy given the requirements of my schedule and dual city residence. More

service I recently had service on my MB and needed a loaner as well. I arrived and almost chatted with Dan about the service and within a short time my loane I recently had service on my MB and needed a loaner as well. I arrived and almost chatted with Dan about the service and within a short time my loaner was delivered to the front door and I was off on my business. i got a call from Dan around noon that the car was ready (just as they had indicated when I left). When i got back Dan went over some points on the service and I was on my kway. A very efficient and prompt service with no tie/ups or delays. Good Job. More

Worst customer service ever...Deals offered but not honored I had bought a GL450 back in 2014 (nice and expensive SUV), and as part of the deal the sales team had offered 2 free services and 1 gift card worth $ I had bought a GL450 back in 2014 (nice and expensive SUV), and as part of the deal the sales team had offered 2 free services and 1 gift card worth $250. I was told by the sales representative, Nick, to use this gift card as my 3rd service. In the past couple years, when I took the vehicle to the dealership, I wanted to use the gift card but Daniel Clark had insisted I use the free services first, as the services they provided would cost more than $250, and told me to keep the gift card until after the free services were used. Yesterday (2/18/17) when I took the vehicle in for the 3rd service, they declined to honor the gift card because it expired last year. While the lady at the register and Nick were scrambling to see what they could do, a sales manager approached me and called me in his office away from the cashiers counter. He treated me like I was some type of criminal trying to use an expired card...and refused to honor what I was given as part of the sales agreement. If he was just going tell me the card won't be honored, why did he call me away from the cashiers desk and into his office??? I told him that Nick had told me I could use the card for my 3rd service and he simply said "than you have a problem with Nick". I never saw a manager throwing his employees under the bus like that. I've also never seen someone offering a gift card with an expiry date before either...The gift card provided to me was stuffed in an envelope and it stated Gift Card for service. I had left it in the glove compartment to be used for service...my mistake for not checking the expiry date. The gift card this dealership had provided me was not honored, and I ended up paying out of pocket. Money isn't that big of a deal, but how I was treated here makes me sick. Everyone at this dealership were really nice when selling me the SUV, while they were getting the money out of me...but when it came time for their turn to stand behind what I was promised, they turned their backs on me. I will be seeking legal help... Oh and one more thing, before going there for the 3rd service, I had asked for a quote and Cady responded to my email stating $149 (regular oil change price, no discounts). Service advisor Daniel charged me $164.62, and he did nothing more than the regular oil change...I'm not being petty, but WOW...makes me wonder why he had me use the free services I had first. This dealer couldn't honor their own $250 gift card that had expired because of them...and on top of that, short change their customers...WOW More

Everyone I work with in service is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I have purchased 3 Merceds CPO vehicles in the last 7 years form Mercedes of El Dorado Hills. Unfortunately I will no longer purchase from this dealership or any associated dealership. I have come to realize that loyalty is not important to the Sale Department and the only thing that matter to them is make the sale at the highest possible price. My most recent purchase in January of 2017, I drove all the way to Marin (over 2 hour drive) to purchase my CPO from Mercedes of Marin. I will always use the Service Department at MBofEDH but will never buy from them again.. More
