Oil service from he'll Had B service performed on 2010 GLK350. Technician performing service improperly reinstalled oil filler cap. Wife was pulled over by other motorists o Had B service performed on 2010 GLK350. Technician performing service improperly reinstalled oil filler cap. Wife was pulled over by other motorists on Bass Lake grade due to huge plume of burning oil smoke trailing from vehicle. Managed to return to Von Housen of El Dorado Hill service center with oil dripping from underneath vehicle. Von Housen provided loaner vehicle while they cleaned up the mess in the engine compartment and from under vehicle. Made one xxxx of a mess which should have been totally perventable had the technician doing the service rechecked his work before releasing the vehicle back to us.. Service Manager reversed charges for service but this truly does not remove the bad taste of the poor quality of workmanship that was performed while servicing our vehicle. More

Don Vanderschoot and Mike Sabah are the only reason I continue to do business with you. Your service center has miss-diagnosed and replaced incorrect parts twice in the past 12 months on my SL-500. A few years ago I paid for 4 tires and only received 2 on the car. This error was caught by Don and corrected. Again, your front office personnel (mostly Don and Mike) are excellent, your service area needs much improvement. More
