Found the car I wanted, right model and color, on website. Although the car was listed on their website, they apparently had some trouble finding it. When they did, price shown on the window was higher than internet price. Salesman Bob Michalek quickly honored the lower price. Overall he was very knowledgeable on the features and controls on the car. Completing the sale (we were financing with a substantial down) became a very tedious process as we were pressed to buy several extras, most of which we didn't want. When we finally completed the paperwork, Bob attempted to give us instructions on the "command" system, but by this time it was quickly getting dark, and we had not even had lunch, so we needed to head for home (75 miles away) and have something to eat. I expected to read the owner's manual and learn all the functions at my leisure. Boy was I wrong! Terribly disappointed in the manual, almost impossible to figure it out and most things referred me to the "Digital Operator's Manual" where again I ran into confusing and incomplete information. On my next trip down there, whenever it is, I will call ahead for an appointment to learn the operating controls and their operation. Car had been hastily wiped down pre delivery, and it showed. all the windows had smears and streaks on the inside, and the trunk was not vacuumed out. A few days later, my nephew pointed out that part of the inner fender on the passenger side was missing, apparently taken off to service the head/parking/turn signal light bulbs and not replaced. There were some small paint chips and arrangements were made for touchup to be done on a future date. Adam Ruff handled the service work and ordered the missing panel and sent it to my home so I could install it or take it to any other Von Hausen location closer to my house. I installed it in about 10 minutes. Adam was great to work with and very accomodating, he's a winner,keep him around! More
