Bought my GWagon here little over a year ago at this dealership, barely over 3k miles on it now. Check engine light is on and I can’t get in for over 2 weeks. Was told over the phone I could stop down dealership, barely over 3k miles on it now. Check engine light is on and I can’t get in for over 2 weeks. Was told over the phone I could stop down & they could hook up the machine to see codes throwing, as it might just need reset since I had a low battery warning before this because I hadn’t driven it for a bit, but it was also in around same time for recall work. This is second time I’ve now been told I could drop by for something quick & when I get there the service techs are rude & just turn me away. Get your communication straight within your dealership, if I can’t drop by then say that….. last time they told me I could, I dropped by on a Saturday & was told they can’t take drop by on Saturday because they are short staffed & today I was told would need to leave it all day & they might get time to hook to the machine. Bad experience with service since buying the vehicle. First and only oil change I’ve had so far at this dealership they over filled the oil and I got warning lights, had to take it back for them to do the work over again, draining & refilling oil. Was told when I bought the car I needed to wash it with matte black specific soap, they try to sell you the expensive matte black cleaning supplies. When brought it in for service they were going to wash & I mentioned make sure you use the matte black, it isn’t a wrap on the car. The service person told me they didn’t have any matte black supplies & washing with regular soap is what they usually use & it is fine they’ve never had a problem. I told them not to wash it then. It was drilled in my head by the sales person to only use matte black specific cleaners, so why is service telling me different. The next service I had it in for they offered to wash again, I asked if they had matte black soap he said yes- that is all they use on the matte black vehicles. Again- different communication depending on the employee. More
