WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! My wife and I bought a fully loaded GL550 from Mercedes of Draper in January. IT WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE WE’VE EVER HAD BUYING ANYTHING…PERIOD! The My wife and I bought a fully loaded GL550 from Mercedes of Draper in January. IT WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE WE’VE EVER HAD BUYING ANYTHING…PERIOD! They are completely awful to work with, blatantly lie, and once they have your money will ignore you! NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! With that said, let me elaborate. This whole ordeal took 5 months and they ignored us and fought us every step of the way! Below is a list of the highlights of how they try to screw customers. Enjoy! 1) THEY SOLD US A CAR WITH GIANT SCRATCHES AND PROBLEMS! The certified pre owned Mercedes we bought from them showed up with all sorts of problems! If you’re not aware…Mercedes claims their CPO vehicles are as like new as possible. It showed up with HUGE scratches along the entire passenger side. It had a 10” scratch on the drivers side of the windshield where the wiper was ran without a blade. 3 of the 4 tires had huge cuts/gouges out of the sidewalls of the tires. It showed up with ZERO paperwork or registration. It showed up without the weather tech floor mats that were in the pics. It had a dead battery in one of the keys and the other died the first week. We bought the car online with assurances from the salesperson that it was in pristine condition. Also MB CPO requirements basically call for a like new vehicle to get that status (no scratches over 1/4”). With that understanding we purchased it and had it shipped to my wife and I in Montana. It arrived the next morning and the delivery driver pointed out all the issues. 2) HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION!!! When confronted with the issues they addressed the easy ones (sent paperwork and mats)…then ghosted us…for over a month! They only got back to us when we escalated things to corporate. 3) THE MERCEDES OF DRAPER FINANCE DEPT LIES AND TRIES TO SCREW YOU…we asked them to run the numbers and see what they could offer through the banks they work with. My wife is a CPA, thus we have a very high credit score. They offered us 5.99% (bank of america) and higher, which seemed super high from what we had been seeing locally. Something didn’t seem right, so we ran the numbers directly through Bank of America within an hour of the dealer's offer to get a head to head…Bank of America immediately approved us for 4.44%…which is over 1.5% less than MB of Draper’s credit dept said that they were at!!! THAT’S FRAUD!!!!! At best it’s unethical and at worst it’s illegal! 4) MERCEDES CORPORATE IS WORTHLESS! We had to finally escalate the case regarding the scratches etc to MB Corporate since MB of Draper wouldn’t respond to us. Corporate was worthless and told us numerous times that the issue was between Mercedes of Draper and us. They refused to engage on any level to make things right. 5) Despite having evidence from the delivery driver showing the scratches, etc MB of Draper wouldn’t admit that anything was wrong when it left their lot. Further we had taken it to our local dealership to verify the issues…even then Mercedes of Draper didn’t believe us and did everything in their power to not get these things fixed. (we’re talking nearly $5k in repairs on a car that should have been like new) 6) ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY THEY WILL IGNORE YOU…They only responded when the case was escalated to corporate, and they only came to a compromise when we got a lawyer involved and threatened legal action. As a business owner myself I’m beyond appalled with the complete lack of professionalism and willingness to work with a customer to make things right. It’s especially egregious considering the luxury badge they represent. The "best or nothing" definitely doesn’t apply to these hacks! Go elsewhere and save yourself the time and headaches! More

They always make sure my car is serviced right the first time, make sure I am comfortable, and check-in with me periodically to provide a status update. More
