DO NOT GO HERE After purchasing the first vehicle here as CPO, which involved meeting certain standards in order for the dealership to sell it as CPO as a matter of After purchasing the first vehicle here as CPO, which involved meeting certain standards in order for the dealership to sell it as CPO as a matter of fact should have never been certified but they tend to do that here at Mercedes Benz of Des Moines because ruining future customers of Mercedes Benz does not matter to them but the $3,000.00 markup on a used car since it is now "certified" which in reality never was, is worth it. The general manager (Ed) has given verbal threats, the service advisers are lazy and have no clue what they are talking about, but who can blame them, they get commission for selling you xxxxxxxx, The technicians follow the service manager's (Scott) orders whether it be against Mercedes Benz policy or not, such as diagnosing the issue of a vehicle. Unfortunately for us citizens of Des Moines the other nearest Mercedes dealership is in Iowa City. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND DO NOT GO HERE. More

Awesome experience I entered Mercedes with a slight chip on my shoulder as I have had rough and uncomfortable experiences with dealerships in the midwest. this being sai I entered Mercedes with a slight chip on my shoulder as I have had rough and uncomfortable experiences with dealerships in the midwest. this being said, I had all of my preconceived expectations shattered when I stepped into this dealership. My experience started with me visiting the dealership on a very common inquisition about SUV's, it ended in one of the better purchasing experiences that I have had. Connor did everything possible to make this a pleasurable experience. I have purchased a few mercedes over the years and have never dealt with a dealership/salesperson of this caliber. I was introduced to the service staff(Chase) and he was absolutely great, the servie staff I have grown accustome to are absolutely the opposit of Chase. From the top down, including the GM Ed Collinet, this was an incredible experience. I would advise anyone in the market to at least visit this dealership! More

I negotiated a car purchase with this dealer for the purchase of a Mercedes. We discussed the car having been serviced with some snow tires. I asked if the snow tires could be included, and I was told purchase of a Mercedes. We discussed the car having been serviced with some snow tires. I asked if the snow tires could be included, and I was told yes. After we negotiated a price, I got a call from the dealer that the snow tires were not going to be included because the former owner bought a new Mercedes and planned on keeping the tires. When I requested another set of snow tires or an appropriate price reduction, I was told No. I am taking my business elsewhere, and I would not recommend them to anyone else. More

I had a groupon to have my car detailed, they did an OK job. I am also in the market for a GL 450. I walked around for several minutes looking at the cars on the floor and not one sales person said as muc job. I am also in the market for a GL 450. I walked around for several minutes looking at the cars on the floor and not one sales person said as much as a hello to me. I don't like pushy sales people any more than any one else, but some help would have been appreciated. After about 15 minutes I asked for a brochure, I walked over to a sales person and asked about a vehicle. I was told that they did not have any in stock and they would be able to do a dealership trade. I left my information with the sales person, as I was driving off the lot I noticed THREE GL450's. I went back inside and questioned the salesman, he started to back petal, oh I thought you meant new ones. I am no salesman but I would have liked the option to test drive or at least look at one of the cars! Needless to say I am purchasing the vehicle elsewhere. More

My salesperson was very knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire buying process easy. Connor answered all of my questions and had several recommendations for me to make operating my car easier for me. He made a follow up call to me and asked if I was enjoying the car and if I had any questions. I was very impressed with this since not all car dealerships do this. I have recommended Connor and the dealership several times to friends and family and will continue to do so. I cannot say enough positive comments about my salesperson, the dealership, and my entire buying experience.
