Regular scheduled service and new tires I received excellent service from the service rep - Rob Green. I was in a bind and just stopped by mid morning because I had a tire going flat. Since my scheduled service was only 5 days away, I asked if I could also get that arranged. The service center was very busy, but Rob shuffled around a few things and was able to get me taken care of. He also offered a loner car, but I opted for a driver to take me to my office. Rob had him there in 2-3 minutes and made sure he picked me up later that day when my car was ready. Great service. More
Poor Customer Service I went to Mercedes Benz of Des Moines with every intension of getting a car. I was very disappointed in their customer service. First time I stop by I went to Mercedes Benz of Des Moines with every intension of getting a car. I was very disappointed in their customer service. First time I stop by the sale person had very little knowledge of the car, he knows a lot about the radio and the app that was install in the car. The specs were inside the car out of sight, I asked why they were not on the window so customer can see it, he replied "oh I don't know, we are tire of putting it back". I wanted to take a look at some, he went in to get a key, one car at a time. We finally went inside and I wanted to know what my car worth(dirt cheap on trade in value). I told them I will pay cash, poor decision to tell them that. So, there were no deal that day, I told them I am going to sell my car first. I left with bad feeling about the place. I still wanted a Mercedes after selling my car, I stopped by the lot again, we stood there for fifteen minutes and was looking at diff. cars, suddenly we heard "heyyy, heyyy...." we look back and found a sales man, dressing like he worked in the service dept., he has more knowledge of the cars by reading the spec in front of us. So, we went inside again, we sat down and he went into his manager office to talk about the price, of course once they know I was there before, the price became non negotiable, well, that's not true they were willing to take off over $100 of their sticker price. We left with no intension of returning to that place, unless that manager is gone. We went across the street and found the sales man there has the totally opposite attitude than where we just came from. Yes, I spent 50K on a new car and still very happy with this decision. More

Where is the competition???? Since Lithia took over European Motorcars I have a feeling that things went a bit backwards. Fantastic service and convenience...no matter what you drive I can't say enough good things about this service center. I don't own a Mercedes or BMW, but these guys treat me just the same. I'm almost embarrassed I can't say enough good things about this service center. I don't own a Mercedes or BMW, but these guys treat me just the same. I'm almost embarrassed to drag in my old 2007 Chrysler minvan when there are all of these expensive luxury cars around, but Scott Long, Brian Selby and the others treat me like I coasted in with a $160,000 Mercedes. I've presented their technicians with some pretty tough tasks, but they always get it worked out and I always leave happy. More
