I went in to the MB of Coral Gables Service Center ("the Center") on March 12, 2014, as the "Check Engine" light came on in my vehicle the evening before. I was greeted very pleasantly by a gentleman ("the Center") on March 12, 2014, as the "Check Engine" light came on in my vehicle the evening before. I was greeted very pleasantly by a gentleman (not a service advisor, perhaps a porter) and I told him that while I didn't have an appt., as I was concerned about the Check Engine light, I felt I should come in for immediate service. He asked me if I had a service advisor who I worked with and if I had a sales rep which I had bought the vehicle from, to which I replied no to both, as I had never been to the Center nor had I purchased the vehicle at MB / Coral Gables. He then asked if the vehicle was vibrating or if I noticed anything different in its performance, to which I replied no. He said that while I could continue to pull up through the service drive, he strongly suggested that I make an appt. to come in and have this checked on. Although I wasn't very comfortable in doing so, I went ahead and drove through, pulled over and called the ph. # on the card the gentleman had provided me with to make the appt. As I was then told by the phone rep. that the first available appt. was not until a week thereafter, I decided to take matters into my own hands and consult with another gentlemen (not a service advisor, again probably a porter), advising him of the situation with my vehicle and the delay in obtaining an appt. He proceeded to find a service advisor, Rosie Ruiz, who promptly greeted me and made the experience thereafter quite exceptional and nearly flawless. Ms. Ruiz was very professional and very pleasant, quickly inspected my vehicle, promptly provided the paperwork, and offered to provide me a loaner car, as the service on the vehicle would take some time, possibly until the following day. While the original intention was to provide a loaner car from the adjacent rental car organization (Enterprise?), as I did not have an appt. and no rental car was available, Ms. Ruiz promptly saw to it that I was provided with an MB loaner. Both the gentlemen who started off the paperwork and took my to my loaner were very courteous and professional as well. To my surprise, Ms. Ruiz left me a voicemail (some time after 5 P.M.) that my vehicle was ready and that I could pick it up until 7 PM that evening. As I arrived at approximately 6:45 PM, while Ms. Ruiz had left for the day, another service advisor (Lorena) attended to me in the same courteous and professional manner, and shortly thereafter my vehicle was delivered to me. It's worth pointing out that while the vehicle was delivered to me, washed/cleaned and ready to go, I did not award the "5" Rating across the board (Quality Of Work = 4). The reason for that was that the hood of the car was not properly closed and my vehicle alerted me as such, nearly immediately after leaving the Center. While that's a relatively minor detail, I believe that it speaks out to how it stood out in what was an otherwise outstanding customer experience. To be sure, I want to praise everyone at the Center for their efforts, and Ms. Ruiz in particular. I realize that MB as a whole strives to maintain a standard in customer experience which is second to none. Nevertheless, those efforts and that standard ring truer when you're fortunate enough to experience it first hand as I did in my recent visit to the Center. Again, and although my purchase experience was superior at the respective dealership, my vehicle was not purchased at MB / Coral Gables. However, if my experience with the Center in any way reflects the way MB / Coral Gables operates, I'm sure my next MB purchase experience will start (and probably end) there! More

Very fast and good service. Noticed a bid difference from last year, which was already excellent!!!! Car wash could have been a bit better.... my windows had spots on the inside. I BOUGHT A CPO MB GL THROUGH INTERNET IN A DEALER IN GEORGIA (I WAS LOOKING FOR SPECIFIC GL ONLY AVAILABLE THERE) AND 5 MONTHS LATER I HAVE TO CHANGE THE REAR BREAKS. IT SOUNDS LIKE THEY DIDN'T RESPECT GEORGIA (I WAS LOOKING FOR SPECIFIC GL ONLY AVAILABLE THERE) AND 5 MONTHS LATER I HAVE TO CHANGE THE REAR BREAKS. IT SOUNDS LIKE THEY DIDN'T RESPECT THE PUBLICITY THAT THEY SHOULD BE AT LEAST AT 50%. THEY ALSO DIDN'T UPDATE THE SERVICE DATE IN THE CAR. A LITTLE DISSAPOINTED WITH THEM. THEY GIVE A BAD IMAGE OF MB. I DON'T KNOW HOW CAN I CLAIM FOR THAT. IN THE OTHER CORAD GABLES MB GAVE ME A GREAT SERVICE. MANY THANKS! More
