I have gone back and forth several times with the dealer and while they did refund me ~$35 they continued to deny responsibility saying it was completely unrelated. Unfortunately the other mechanic didn’t take any photos to document because he was so confused as to why there was disassemble parts just laying there. The fact that I was being forced to either go without a turn front left signal or pay for a diagnostic which was only necessary because they failed to complete the repair i already payed for bothers me. As I understand that assessment fee only goes towards repairs. What was gonna happen when they popped the hood and realized they didn’t complete the previous repair? How am I to know they wouldn’t have just told me it was a wiring issue and charged me anyway. I have zero trust in ever taking my car in for service again.
