My fiance and I had been casually shopping for new cars for myself, with a year still left on our current lease. We visited other luxury dealerships, and, as two casually-dressed young people, felt that we weren't being taken seriously. From the moment we walked into the Mercedes Benz of Caldwell dealership, we were treated with respect, courtesy and professionalism. Richard and his sales manager, George, worked hard to accommodate our unique situation. They helped us mitigate the financial strain of having two leases at once, offering the best deal on our new car, while managing the process for us of returning our old car and rolling our remaining lease payments into our current ones for an ease of payment that we were looking for. We test drove several different models on two different occasions and the team was more than patient with us while we made our decision. Once we made it clear that we wanted to move forward, they gave us the absolute best deal they could, eliminating the back and forth of the "negotiating game" that you typically have to play. We made our decision at 8PM on a Friday night, and due to the hard work of Richard and the team, were able to pick our car up the next afternoon. We absolutely LOVE our new GLE550E Hybrid, it's a fantastic car, and we had a great experience throughout what can, in some situations, be a stressful, timely and arduous process. Thank you to Richard, George, and the rest of the MB of Caldwell team for your help! More

Take your business elsewhere I went here to check out a year old model I happen to like in the color I loved. There aren't a lot of these cars anymore, so I decided to buy it fro I went here to check out a year old model I happen to like in the color I loved. There aren't a lot of these cars anymore, so I decided to buy it from this place. Plus, my sales person Gordon was engaging. The only other place that had the car I want was in Princeton which was much farther (now how I wish I did). But even after I decided to do business with MB Caldwell and put a huge downpayment, I found the other staff to be cold, unfriendly, and indifferent. I don't think it should matter whether you buy used or new, but I was definitely made to feel like a second class citizen. I also felt pressured during the Financing process to get add-ons. No words can express the horrible experience I had at in this place. Overall, it's puzzling why they think they can treat people like this. And I'm a customer! Also, their location and store isn't even that great. It's small, plain and dilapidated compared to the other dealerships I've been to. Lastly, the manager of the store didn't bother meeting me or calling me back when I complained about this whole experience. Simply unacceptable. This place needs some major improvements - inside and out. More
