This was the absolute easiest service I’ve ever gotten to my vehicle. Once I called, they scheduled a time to pick my car up and dropped off a loaner. Once it was ready, they again made the exchange. Calabasas Mercedes After a horrific incident with the Thousand Oaks Silverstar Mercedes service center last year, I needed to find a different place. Calabasas Mercedes is actually closer to my house and therefore I thought I'd give it a try. I was not impressed. I made an appointment for 11 am but wasn't helped for almost 25 minutes although one nice employee kept ensuring me that I would be helped soon. This is a minimal issue. The bigger issue is that when dealing with the service person he questioned me about whether or not it was my parents' car, if they passed it down to me, if I purchased it new or used, and whether the car was "really" mine. I was highly appalled because I doubt that every customer gets asked these discriminatory questions- especially the older white gentleman who came after me. Additionally, this is coming from an Asst. Manager. I was then texted later to pick up my car within a 5 minute window before closure, which of course took much longer. I was mostly upset from the interaction in the morning and hope employees will get more training on discrimination. And yes, the car is mine and I bought it. More

INSPECT your new vehicle before purchasing. Initial interactions were pleasant and then it went downhill. I purchased a vehicle which was being shipped from their sister store in Walnut Creek. T Initial interactions were pleasant and then it went downhill. I purchased a vehicle which was being shipped from their sister store in Walnut Creek. The car had 90 miles on it but they insisted that it was normal, we bit. Within the time span of 24 hours after driving the car off the lot, three problems arose. First, the windshield wiper flew off the attachment as the vehicle was driven on a highway, endangering the driver as well as surrounding vehicles. Alerted the dealer and was assured that it will be fixed the next day. The car was driven the next day and multiple warnings appeared on the dashboard warning of low coolant level. Alerted the dealer and did not hear back until well after I alerted the technician that arrived to replace the windshield wiper. The technician proceeded to open the hood and was shocked that the car was brand new. There was a very clear puncture in the coolant line as smoke fumed out from a overheating engine. While examining the car further as horrified and terrified I was of driving the car any further, a small hole due to improper stitching was found. It was gaping wide open on the back of the passenger seat, big enough to fit three fingers into. I called the dealer and notified of the issues, they said that they would take the car in the next business day and service it and send a tow truck to pick up the vehicle. I requested a loaner and they expected us to get there from DTLA to Calabasas on our own. They then offered a full refund and I took it. There are a lot of shameful details and drama in interacting with the dealer that I have decided to keep out for the sake of keeping an honest review free of emotions. Nonetheless, I have returned the vehicle and purchased a vehicle elsewhere. More
