Hi Mr. Gorelik, I read the comment you posted online with great disappointment, and must admit I am quite surprised you feel this way. I am the same manager who scoured the country to get your daughter the car of her dreams when no other dealer could AND at a price that no other deal would. Further, I was also instrumental in her receiving it in time for her surprise party. My salesman even offered to bring it to the restaurant where the celebration took place. We delivered on every promised that we made and then some and as usual, gave her an incredible deal. Your daughter and her husband were positively ecstatic when it all finally came together. All of this took place was just days before your visit and I recall our conversation regarding your interest in leasing a 2014 E350 4matic for the same price you paid in 2012 quite vividly. Perhaps I did not articulate my point as to why we could not accept your proposal as well as I thought I did. For that I apologize. The offer you made to lease a 2014 E Class for the same payment you had on the 2012 was simply not financially feasible. As the 2014 is a completely restyled model and one with more standard features and options than your 2012 had, the car now, not surprisingly, is a little more expensive. Additionally, as you have leased several cars from us over the years, you know that lease programs change each month and although we did our best to come close to the payment you had 2 years ago, the current pricing and programs could not duplicate the offers from 2012. Unfortunately while our quote was not to your satisfaction, the vehicle was extremely aggressively priced. The reason why the mileage did not matter in your particular case was not that the payment would not drop a bit, it would, it was that your offer was so far below the market, that the extra few hundred dollars in savings by driving 10,000 miles per year would not have materially impacted the gap between the two prices. I would hope that based on your own personal previous experiences here and that of your family, you would understand that we go overboard to keep our clients happy. If your offer was doable, we would have done it. After all, we are the same Authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer that leased you that 2012 for just $476/mo. I wish you well. Regards, Tim
