John DeNice is like a knight in shining armor - he saved the day! Last week, when we were nearing Exit 5 on eastbound Belt Parkway - we hit a deadly pothole. Yes, it was one of the infamous pothole that w the day! Last week, when we were nearing Exit 5 on eastbound Belt Parkway - we hit a deadly pothole. Yes, it was one of the infamous pothole that was aired in the news. As a result, one of our tire got shot and we had to pull over to the side of the road. Being that it was my first experience with a tire situation on the highway, and being that we didn't know how to change a tire, plus with two kids in the back seat - I panicked and my mind went blank. I contacted Mercedes of Brooklyn and spoke with John DeNice. He patiently listened to my dilemna and then calmly gave me very helpful and sensible instructions as to what I should do - which was to have my car towed to nearby local street and then contact Benz Roadside Assistance to get my tire changed. We actually had our car towed to John's location since we were so close to the dealership - to wait for Benz Roadside Assistance to arrive. When we got there, John came out and greeted us warmly. He also quickly assessed the condition of my tire/rim and gave us very constructive advice. Roadside Assistance was running late, so John immediately got us situated comfortably in the showroom area where there were refreshments and fun hi-tech devices for my kids to explore. John is certainly a great asset to this dealership because his professionalism, expertise and most importantly, his compassion for his customers' needs keeps his customers coming back.
