Leased Vehicle with a ton of Problems They are quick to take your money but when you have an issue with that shiny new overpriced car your on your own. My vehicle has been having issues since Feb 2015. This is a 3 year lease and I have asked since the beginning of my lease to get me out ASAP due to the fact that this car has problems that of course Mercedes Benz Of Brooklyn can NEVER DUPLICATE OR FIND!! My vehicle has been in for service at least 8 more times since than and is currently in for service again for what is now a much BIGGER issue. I again asked to please get me out of this car. I do not feel safe in this vehicle and would not want my wife or family in this car. Just this past month vehicle began to shake very rough and stalled while on the highway. Not only did the vehicle stall but my steering wheel locked as well. I have begged and pleaded and I have contacted Mercedes Corporate for help and was again just given the run around. Mercedes Benz Corporate and Mercedes Benz of Brooklyn both feel that my car is safe and that once its repaired it will be back to Mercedes standards. This dealership is well aware of the problems with this specific make and model vehicle and with all the calls and visits I have made Mercedes Benz of Brooklyn wants me to get into a new lease again for another 3 years with money down and a higher monthly payment. I have dealt with almost all the managers and supervisors and have asked each and every time to have me speak to Doug Wells. I was told each and every time that he is in a meeting or on another line at the moment or I get "Sir, this is the highest level of management that you will be able to speak too", I'm looking straight at Doug while they blatantly lie to my face the way they are lying about the issues with my car. Stay far away from this place. More

My online credit application was kicked back, but I was assured by a well knowledged representative that it doesn't necessarily mean that I was denied credit for a finance. With all of that, the very next day I ventured to Mercedes Benz of Brooklyn from Sullivan County, NY - roughly 2 hours away- and I left there with my first Mercedes Benz. Need I mention, I received exceptional service- more like Triple A+ service while there. The salesperson, Jerry Pettito, worked diligently to match me with the vehicle I desired. The only downside was the extensive wait from credit acceptance to signing.
