Bad experience all around Stopped in to put in an order for a GLS (purchased our last two at this dealership). Our previous salesperson was no longer with the dealership so we Stopped in to put in an order for a GLS (purchased our last two at this dealership). Our previous salesperson was no longer with the dealership so we were given to David Anderson. After over an hour of him struggling to use his computer terminal and get info on the vehicle (he knew less about the model than we did) he then informed us it was not yet possible to order what we wanted (a 2020) and he'll take down our info and enter it at a later time. Weeks pass, no reply so I stopped by a second time; he had no idea who I was and "lost" the information we gave him. I was in a hurry so I left. Then, while communicating via email David informed me it was still not possible to order that vehicle. The next day, I called another dealer (out of town) who informed me it was, in fact possible to build/order the vehicle, When I called and relayed this to David, he said his sales manager said we should go on line, build it, print out the sheet and bring it in and he'd then take my deposit. After then finding out that he and his manager were mistaken and 2020 builds were not possible on line, I scheduled my third visit with David to attempt to get a vehicle ordered before my current lease expired. It's now our third visit and David still cannot work his computer. He scribbles our information on a piece of scrap paper, goes to the back room and returns 20 minutes later with a sheet with no pricing; only some of our options on it and a hand written signature box and handwritten NON REFUNDABLE underlined three times and then states that even though he cannot quote pricing, we need to give him $5,000 that's absolutely non-refundable. At this point we walked out. For some perspective, we then drove into Manhattan and had a totally different experience. The salesperson was incredibly knowledgeable, informed us of what options were available, built a car with us and, asked for a much more reasonable deposit ($1,000) and made it clear that as pricing for the model was yet to be released by MBUSA, should we be unhappy in any way, our deposit would be 100% refundable. To be clear, this will be our third GLS lease. we have absolutely no intention of changing our mind but found David's (and his manager's) treatment of us to be rude and insulting. In addition to insinuating he believed we may not be serious (in spite of two previous transactions for the exact same vehicle and a family income of just under seven figures/year), he made several comments about "people who should be driving Toyotas who took advantage of cheap financing to buy cars that should not be driving Mercedes and will have a rude awakening now that money is more expensive". While MB of Brooklyn was much closer to home, the entire experience was so much better at MB Manhattan. Environment, greeting by reception, professionalism, confirmation emails, etc were all right on point versus the curt, rude and disorganized experience at MB of Brooklyn. STRONGLY encourage anyone to avoid MB of Brooklyn and have a much more professional experience in Manhattan. More

Rock Star Experience Buying or leasing is both an exciting and at times possibly terrifying experience. The choices to make regarding make, model, color, engine size, etc Buying or leasing is both an exciting and at times possibly terrifying experience. The choices to make regarding make, model, color, engine size, etc... and the corresponding payments that go along with those choices, can be overwhelming. But that is all changed for the better when you have someone to take care of you throughout the process. Someone that is in touch with you early, before you ever step back in the showroom, so that you have had a chance to reflect on some of these choices. Someone who walks you through at your pace, and not a high-pressured sales pace, who allows you the patience to take your time in making these decisions. Someone who makes you feel like you are dealing with an old friend and not just a retail establishment. Someone that makes you feel like you're being treated like a rock star. That someone for me is Diana Chuisano, time and time again over the years and I am grateful for the opportunity to work with her. More
