Horrible service experience I went to get my tires checked, they were making weird noises. After couple of hours I received a call from Jim DeRosa explaining that my tires need to be replaced ( it's a brand new car with only 18k miles). They were not able to tell me the thread count ( they didn't have the report yet) but already he said I need my tires replaced. What he didn't know is that I have two sets of tires (summer and winter) and my summer tires have only been driven for 9k miles. I feel like they were trying to rip me off. I did not get my car fixed there.. Horrible service. No people skills. And I didn't even get a survey after my visit... What were you afraid off???? I went to a different dealer (knauz) the next day and it turns out my tires are perfectly fine ( they do not need to be replaced) but I needed my shock absorber replaced on one of the tires.. (Which Motor Werks neglected to mention). I'm a long time customer of Motor Werks but I will NEVER do any business with them again. More

However after a few test drives I opted for a new car instead. The new and used Mercedes sales managers and finance guy were very helpful. They also helped me with extended warranties for my old Mercedes which will now be getting handed off to a family member. More

Do not buy remotely!!!! Wow. Wired the cash, had a service pick up the car the next day. Car arrived in Ohio with no temporary tag. Nice to look at , but had to park it i Wow. Next day, got a call that, Ooops, we needed to complete papers to get a tag. Ok. Completed the papers, (no paid return envelope) and paid to have them expedited. Next week, Monday through Thursday, nothing. Made it to Friday and called. Ooops, our papers were sitting, unopened on a desk of a vacationing employee! (Still looking at the car in garage.) Promised to send the tags, Next Day Air, SATURDAY delivery. Saturday evening. Nothing. Called. Ooops, not sure what happened? I got the FedEx tracking number. Checked the FedEx site. They paid for "weekday" delivery. I'll get the tags someday on Monday. Maybe. Still looking at the car in the garage. That'll be almost two weeks of looking at this car in my garage. Listen, if a dealer wants to sell over the internet, they need to step up their game and FOLLOW THROUGH. Perhaps Motorwerks of Barrington is great with local transactions, but BEWARE if you are an internet buyer. More
