I wish I did business with another location My whole experience with Motowerks in Barrington has been terrible, horrible and below standard for this type of establishment. I can forgive anything if the reason for lack of efficiency is reasonable but with these guys it's not. I bought my E350 over a year ago. I live in Chicago and of course you need front and rear plates. My car didn't have rear plates. I must have called 15 times to have a bracket sent to me to personally have it installed and got nothing. I tried other mcb service centers and they were going to charge $200 to install plates. Meanwhile I started getting parking tickets for it. I eventually drove an hour plus just for a plate bracket. Secondly, I took my car in for service 2 months into the purchase on a preowned certified? Cost me $700. They intentionally sold me this car knowing the $$ service was just around the corner. I completed and paid for the service and my husband picked up a dirty car. They didn't wash it. The attendant said he was closing. Finally, I called and requested details of my additional warranty and was simply told by the attendant (Tony) that he didn't have it. All I was sent was a vague 2 page sheet with no information on it. I was sent an email asking my experience with them and I gave an honest feedback and no one called or attempted to reach out. Very very poor!!!! More

Won’t buy a car anywhere else. I have notice the Motor Werks logo on many cars on the road but never had I been there. I had been looking for a Z28 5th Gen Camaro for a couple mont I have notice the Motor Werks logo on many cars on the road but never had I been there. I had been looking for a Z28 5th Gen Camaro for a couple months and knew what I wanted. Low mile, clean, 1 owner car. I found one on cargurus at Barrington and gave them a call. From the first call Sal was a great listener and ready to help. Since I live 2 hours from Barrington I told him I didn’t want to drive down and be disappointed. Since the car was new on the lot no pics were posted. Sal personally stayed late to take photos of the car and opined about the overall quality. He was totally honest and the photos were very helpful. Drove down the next day to the amazing dealership with Porsche and BMW models I’ve seen nowhere else. Sal was never pushy or hard sell. Just an honest good guy that gives you room to make a good decision. No games and not a lot of back and forth. Tony in Finance also a great guy. I frankly will buy all of my cars from Sal and MW in the future. Solid people and business. More
