Had the car towed and after three weeks, Infiniti still couldn’t fix the issue even after disassembling the entire front dash. They could emulate the problem but had no idea what the cause was or how to repair the issue. The dealership AND parent company Nissan refused to take the car back and refund our money. We ended up having to trade the car back in to the dealership and purchase a different car. UNBELIEVABLE! While being forced to purchase the second vehicle, the dealership charged us for miles and wouldn’t pay for the new title even though the faulty car was THEIR issue so we ended up losing $1,000 in the deal. And we had to fight hard for that deal. And the nightmare didn’t stop there. When signing the paperwork, we felt like we were bargaining in Tijuana. The finance manager used high pressure to upsell their products such as the leather protectant warranty, extended maintenance warranty, etc. I was just waiting for them to bring out a steel club and threaten us into purchasing the items. The icing on the cake was when the dealership overcharged us for the second car’s title and registration and it took months of phone calls and emails and finally a threat to get an attorney before the overage was returned to us. And since the original vehicle’s issue was their problem, these additional license and title fees were something Motor Werks should have paid for if they had any type of moral business compass. I will NEVER purchase an Infiniti or Nissan product again and I tell everyone I can about the horrible treatment we received at the Motor Werks dealership. The only bright spot in our entire purchasing fiasco was our Sales Rep, Mark Smith. He was honest, helpful and kind...traits the rest of this crooked dealership could learn from. More

Joe Spata was super helpful in answering my initial questions about the car and arranging to hold it until I could arrive to pick it up. Scott Sanders met me upon arrival and helped with all of my questions and requests and even gave me a nice car care kit from Mercedes! Aside from a few minor issues with the car that had to be dealt with back home at the local dealer (all of which were taken care of under warranty or reimbursed from MW Barrington), this was a perfect buying experience! I was very impressed with the staff- very professional and very courteous. They are intent on making the customer happy and that's exactly what I am! More

Motor Werks is a good place to buy a car. I am an out of state internet buyer and overall the staff at Motor Werks did a good job. There were a few communication issues from the beginning with my salesperson but Stu the sales manager was able to step in take care of what I needed. Negotiating the deal remotely took a few days longer than I would have liked. However after I signed up things really moved forward quickly and the car was delivered in excellent cosmetic condition, probably better than described. The car was waxed and detailed to a very high degree. I appreciated this greatly, and the fact they were able to call the previous owners and track down a 2nd key. I will definitely look at their inventory again whenever searching for my next car. 4/5 More

I was impressed by his patience (of me not really knowing what I wanted), of his recommendations, and his knowledge of his dealership fleet. He gave me straight answers, and walked me through the whole process. I was in a time crunch, and he made sure everything got done in a timely manner. I was in and out in 2 hours.. that never happens. Thank you James for all your assistance, you will definitely be recommended to friends and family. Ended up deciding on a GLE 63 AMG. More

2016 Lexus NX 200t (VIN JTJYARBZ8G2045263 In late Dec. 2019, I purchased a 2016 Lexus NX 200t with less than 21,000 miles for under $25K (great price -- there's a catch)...two days after m In late Dec. 2019, I purchased a 2016 Lexus NX 200t with less than 21,000 miles for under $25K (great price -- there's a catch)...two days after my purchase the check engine light came on. After researching the service history through VIN, this same SUV had the same issue in Feb. 2019 -- which MotorWerks knew about since they had the SUV serviced at two Lexus dealers in Nov. 2019. I took the vehicle to a Lexus dealer for an inspection...small world...this same dealer saw this SUV in February....and informed me (as they did the previous owner) that the SUV had been in an accident and the EVAP fuel line had a leak (cost to repair: $2,000). I complained to the General Manager (T. Kioutas) who told me that his dealership was unaware of this issue and they don't need to hide information to sell one car (they sell hundreds). Fortunately, I was able to void this sale. Imagine my horror when I look on their website a few days later --- guess what??!! -- they have the same SUV for sale (even though they know of this issue with the EVAP system...with the accident to the left rear who knows what else is wrong with this vehicle). Do yourself a favor -- DO NOT PURCHASE from this dealer! And research the VIN# of vehicles prior to your purchase (do not rely solely on Carfax -- in case issues are not reported via Carfax). STAY AWAY from this unscrupulous dealer. More
