Without question, one of the most pleasant auto purchase experiences I've ever encountered. Kudos to the entire staff, from a very knowledgable and courteous client associate, Al Zayas, to the management team of Larry and Drew. The car was in immaculate condition upon pick-up and the finance process was exceptionally smooth, without any undue pressure from Lisa to purchase the add-ons such as an extended warranty, additonal road hazard protection, Lo-Jack, etc. In the immortal words of a great American military general, "I shall return" to MB of Annapolis. This time I really felt that what ever I wanted and they had I would received. He was patience, understanding, and knowledgeable. He was more concerning with what I wanted then selling a car to someone. After I made my decision, he went with me to the finance manager. The finance manager Tom Stancavage and Tom Pfleger were very professional, and friendly, and I beleive they gave me the best deal they could.Derek went over all the new items of the car with me, (clock, navi, and the radio),which are all different in the 2009-E350. It is a awesome car. After leaving the dealership, I had received serval calls from Derek to make sure I was happy with my car, and understanding all the new parts and items. We've been so impressed with our 2008 E320 Bluetec diesel, we just completed our second wonderful Mercedes purchase from Derek Nedd and Mercedes-Benz of Annapolis. Derek, the management team, and the diesel, we just completed our second wonderful Mercedes purchase from Derek Nedd and Mercedes-Benz of Annapolis. Derek, the management team, and the finance folks all went overboard to get us the best deal on a 2009, C300, 4-matic, luxury sedan. They also gave us the best price on our trade, handily beating the other offers we received. And Mercedes Finance gave us a fantastic interest rate on the loan during their latest promotion. Derek hasn't forgotten us after the sale either, which is why we returned to purchase our second vehicle from him and this specific dealer. He routinely checks on our satisfaction to ensure there hasn't been any problems with the vehicles and makes himself available to answer usage questions. The proof is in the price. If you think this review sounds like an infomercial, then go view the specials on their website yourself. The price lured us in, but the PRICE and SERVICE sold us the cars. At the time of our E320 purchase we also owned a relatively new BMW. As time progressed we grew so disgusted by the supposedly free BMW maintenance program that we vowed never to purchase from then again. I don't agree with BMW changing the oil in my car only every 20,000 miles and calling it free maintenance. Yes, that equals two free oil changes during their supposedly free 50,000 miles of maintenance. This weekend we said goodbye to BMW and said hello once again to another new Mercedes. In addition, he took his time to explain every internal and external gadget about the car and what I didn't understand he made sure I understood before I left the dealership. He encouraged that if I still had questions, please give him a call anytime. The overall customer service is great. Upon entering the dealership, you are greeted by a wonderful receptionist and that makes you feel very welcome. Kim Barhardt made my experience with finance easy and painless. She was such a pleasure to work with. I have bought several cars in the past, but this time I can truly say I enjoyed the experience. Once I got home, I didn't feel overwhelmed and second guessing my decision of purchasing a car from Mercedes Benz of Annapolis. The sales person was very knowledgeable about the car although it is a new model. There was no presure to purchase but we were encouraged to ask or call with any questions. We were allowed to drive the car under the conditions that we drive under (city & highway). We were not sent to the finance office; we were escorted there. Our phones were interfaced with the new car and the salesperson spent a lot of time ensuring that we knew all of the basic and many of the advance functions of the car. We received phone calls from the salesperson and manager expressing thanks and encouraging us to call with any questions. More
I test drove my '99 SL500 while I was in the Maryland area. The remainder of the purchase transaction was conducted remotely as I live in Detroit. (Yes, there are nice parts of Detroit.) I searced the internet for the car I was looking to buy... found one at MBofAnnap... contacted the dealer and received a very courteous call from Mike Benso.... he followed up later closer to when i sa buy... found one at MBofAnnap... contacted the dealer and received a very courteous call from Mike Benso.... he followed up later closer to when i said I was coming in.... good deal. so, there I am walking into the friendly dealership, and he is cresting the corner of the show room... nice man, professional, courteous... and we went for a spin... he allowed me to truly drive it around (not the standard dealer-loop) and introduced me to all the others in the dealership. This only AFTER he opened up honestly, trying to show me what was in teh car and realizing that he knew less about it than I did... this was the conclusion as he searched for the hood latch on the Mini and I stood by giggling, which caused Tom to come out laughing, and share the story with others all day... truth was: i had no clue where the latch was either!!! but it was hilarious watching Mike search, and feel a little unprepared. Didnt bother me at all!!! this man shows hundreds of cars all the time, and couldnt POSSIBLY be up on all the ins and outs of each - particularly on cars like the MINI... they are MINI toys with lots of surprises. Mike was fair, honest and kind... Drew and Tom joined the team of courteous, professional assistants in my search for a car... i felt comfortable and they even made my little one in tow feel welcome. These gentleman were all about working with making the best deal in my best interest. I am one happy customer!!! and my daughter enjoyed the experience too! I have purchased and leased many cars through many different dealerships. Rep Chris Tarsa stands at the TOP of all my past experiences. I walked in on a cold, rainy, December afternoon and met an experienced professional that was not overbearing, not pushy, not arrogant but was clearly knowleagable, professional and readily responded to my queries. I have 2 children in out-of-state universities and needed another vehicle for me to drive. I immediatley felt like we were buying this car together. I test drove a car home. He called me later that evening to find out how my wife felt about the car. He called the next day and allowed me to continue "my ownership". Yes, I did purchace the car and was quietly introduced to the "money man" and the "warranty man" but done in a manner that was extremely friendly, low key and professional. I did not feel as though I was buying a car but going through a very, VERY pleasant experience. Chris called me to follow-up with items that were to be done. I brought the car to him. He called me when it was completed and he had the car back at the dealership. I have never felt I was alone in this whole experience but had the most professional and honest MB representative that Mercedes Benz would have wanted representing their automobiles, their history and their reputation.
