I have been using this dealer to service my car for many years. I can tell by the rest of the service clients whom I have observed come in that they feel, as I do, rescued from the morass of service centers years. As with any business, it is about developing a personal relationship with your client. Mr. Lazarevic makes my concerns and business feel personal. I appreciate this level of attention from both Mr. Lazarevic and Santa Barbara Auto Group (SBAG) for supporting this level of service from their employees and for their clients. I went in for a smog check, which clearly could have been less expensive at a road-side gas station. However, with SBAG, my car was also inspected from wheels up, and I was provided with a complete status report from safe to cautions to clear and advised as to when I would need to bring my car in for this service. Also, my car was returned to me completely cleaned. All in all it was a deal! More

What makes the experience the best is the customer service by the Sales and Leasing Consultants. My most recent experience was with Mr. David Zoesch. I had recurring mechanical problems with my 2009 E350 and contacted the dealership. Within an hour, the Sales Manager (Ben) reacted to the problem quickly and David called me to let me know that "as a valued customer, we want to make you happy by providing you with a new E350". When I arrived to the dealership, David was extremely friendly, personable, and professional. He offered refreshments (as I had a long drive), made great conversation, and he even had various choices of 2012 E350s literally lined up next to each other for me to look at and compare. What I appreciated most about David is his passion about Mercedes Benz in general and the vast amount of knowledge and experience that he presented to me. While waiting for paperwork and financing, David went above and beyond to answer questions that I had and was very thoughtful. He was thorough in teaching me about the "whistles and bells" that Mercedes Benz is known for and was patient in his explanations. After the purchase, David followed up within the week with a phone call and a handwritten "Thank-You" card! It is for these reasons that I continue to return to Mercedes Benz of Santa Barbara. David truly captures the epitome of customer service and illustrates how much Mercedes Benz values their customers! More

I am a newcomer to this area and I needed a few things fixed on myMLl350. I am from Sun Valley Idaho and have gotten service in Boise , Idaho. but never have had such a good feeling from a dealership b fixed on myMLl350. Usually if they don't know you, you are treated with very little care. When I drove into your dealership I met Jason Horneman and he was so friendly, kind, and professional,he made me feel like I would be very well taken care of. He gave me confidence knowing that my problem could easily be fixed even though I didn't have an appointment. He took me right in and fixed my car within an hour. I left there thinking I can't wait to move here so I can use this dealership to fix my car. More

Chuck was wonderful to work with. My wife was replacing a car after totaling her Audi in a crash and he was very sensitive to her needs. When it came time to purchase, he was very helpful and patient in the decision about financing and working with some scheduling issues, since we live in Ojai and had to find time to get back to Santa Barbara. I would definitely work with Chuck again and recommend him to others. More
I have had my 2004 CLK 320 serviced and repaired at Santa Barbara Auto Group since it was new. He is always straightforward with me about what sort of work needs to be done and why, and is equally honest about what doesn't need to be done. He keeps the cost factor in mind and I never feel as though he's trying to "sell" me something. I greatly appreciate his guidance, his help and his respect for my time. I have also found all the other employees at the dealership with whom I've had contact to be friendly and courteous. The facility itself is clean, well maintained, and runs efficiently. I've never had to wait too long when dropping my car off or picking it up; if I do appear to be waiting, any employee who walks by always checks in with me to be sure I've been helped. Good service does seem to be the priority. Overall, I'm very satisfied with Santa Barbara Auto Group. My car runs very well and I will continue to have it serviced at SB Auto for as long as I own it. Given my positive experience with the service department, I would also consider buying my next vehicle at this dealership. More
While traveling from Pasadena to Carmel, I experienced a major failure with my auto. After some assistance from Mercedes Benz road service, I was able to re-start my auto but was advised to seek professiona major failure with my auto. I re-routed to return home thinking my trip aborted; very unhappy & disappointed. Then, I thought about contacting the Santa Barbara Mercedes dealership that I recalled passing earlier in the day. I was fortunate that Jason Horneman answered my call, asked relevant questions & was able to diagnose the problem with my auto while on the phone with me! Jason confirmed that the parts were in stock & that the service could be performed as soon as I arrived. Let me add, that this was on a Friday afternoon! I arrived within 35 minutes after initially contacting Jason and my car was taken into service. I waited about an hour or so and was invited by Jason to relax in the waiting room (with my dog). I received some of the best customer service ever and appreciate the attention to detail that Jason offered. And, I was able to complete my trip as planned!
