Mercedes benz of manhattan was ok for the 3 years i serviced my car there until a few months ago when i got a service light. I took the car in for diagnoses and i ended up having to pay for 2 diagnoses serviced my car there until a few months ago when i got a service light. I took the car in for diagnoses and i ended up having to pay for 2 diagnoses for the same problem. I let that go. Now i am having another issue with the car. I called for an appointment they told me the cost for a the diagnostic is $350. I didn’t make the appointment right away but when I called back an hour later they told me that the cost went up to $450. When i spoke to Victoria she confirmed that i have to pay an administrative fee of $450 plus the diagnostic. All this after i have been servicing my car there for 3 years. I wont be going back there. More
The worst thing that can happen to you by the car is not accident it is when you will have to deal with Mercedes-Benz Manhattan - Service Center. My sunroof is leaking when it was under warenty. They kept the car for 15+ days. Could not reproduce the issue. There is no comunication. When I tried to reach them they said they will call me back. No respose. Finaly when I was been able reach out, they said the car is no showing any issue but they will detail my car. That is ridiculas. When my car is leaking from the roof they rather than fixing they are going to just remove the stain from the water mark? More

They quoted me $3500 for service. When I got the bill it was $4900. They kept the car two extra days to pad the labor hours, then promised to clean the car for the inconvenience, but When I got the bill it was $4900. This dealership is not performing up to the expectation of a vehicle manufacturer's dealership. I am having a recurring problem with my vehicle, and each time I bring it in, I am given a whole list of new of a vehicle manufacturer's dealership. Couldn’t even get into garage since door wouldn’t open. Had to wait for exiting car to open door. The “greeter” was hostile. We had to inquire about car status since no one proactively called us. After leaving the car there for 25 hours for a B service, it was filthy when we picked it up! We were told it would take an additional 40 minutes to wash the car! This is the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had with Mercedes after leasing cars from Mercedes since 1995. Truly abysmal! Total embarrassment for the company! More
worse dealership ever - reserved a service call, had a wait 30 days for loaner. She was very pleasant and kept me informed about my vehicle. This is a beautiful Dealership with a fantastic coffee station but it will cost you a good penny to service your vehicle there. After they replaced the Takata recalled airbags in my car, they detailed it and returned it to me in tip top shape. I was so impressed that I decided to have my car serviced there for the first time, bad mistake. Had an 8:30 appointment and spent the whole day there. I had to turn down recommended service that I knew that I did not need, like replacing my wiper blades. Why do I need to replace Mercedes Benz wiper blades that I had replaced 1 year ago? I think what they do is when they see a woman, they upsell their service recommendations to them. I have been schooled by some very good men in my life to know better when visiting dealerships for service.. After spending the whole day and paying the enormous invoice from Mercedes Benz Manhattan, i was ready to get out of there. Now we all know that, Mercedes Benz dealerships are known for detailing your car after having it serviced. Why when I received my vehicle, all 4 windows were rolled down? I thought that was odd and didn’t noticed the vehicle was not detailed until I drove outside the dealership. Back to Helms Bros. Service for my future appointments. They have top notch customer service, where your time is very important to them. They actually show you a video of the technician working on your vehicle while you wait. Sorry Mercedes Benz Manhattan, I tried to give you a chance. You have to do a better job respecting customer’s time with less fluff! TF New York, NY More
