Excellent Care from Service Department I recently purchased a new Mercedes from the Manhattan dealership and unfortunately one of the sensors broke within a few weeks of buying the vehicle. I recently purchased a new Mercedes from the Manhattan dealership and unfortunately one of the sensors broke within a few weeks of buying the vehicle. I called the Service Department urgently to get the sensor looked at and they accommodated my needs and were able to get me in first thing the next morning. I worked with Angelo to come up with a solution to get the sensor taken care of, and he was absolutely amazing. He was extremely caring of the situation and made sure I was comfortable and aware of everything. He constantly checked up on me every 30 minutes to give me a status on my vehicle and make sure I was comfortable in the waiting area. I highly recommend coming to this dealership and using their service department. I have seen some negative reviews regarding them, but in all honestly, they blew me away with their professionalism and care. I highly recommend you work with Angelo, he's excellent and will really go above and beyond to make sure you leave happy. More

From our initial visit to the showroom Daniel Micu was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and we very much appreciated his "non salesman like" approach. He was patient with us throughout the process and was available and accessible for anything we would need. Once our car arrived (the same week!) to the showroom Greg Gazzola helped us learn all of the amazing features in the car and took a lot of time with us even after closing to do so. He was very well versed in all that the car has to offer and made it easy for us to remember all of the features. And - we love the car! Xoukdnt be happier with our decision to go with Mercedes Benz Manhattan! More
Great European Delivery Experience I write reviews for both when my experiences have been good or bad. And I can, without a doubt, say my sales experience with MB Manhattan, and especia I write reviews for both when my experiences have been good or bad. And I can, without a doubt, say my sales experience with MB Manhattan, and especially John Hart, has been nothing short of amazing. I had done what all new car purchasers do and email and call several dealers in my neighborhood, and even some out of state. I did what is called European Delivery, where you purchase a US spec car and take delivery of it at the Mercedes Factory in Sindelfingen, Germany. I drove it around for 15 days in Europe and it was amazing (but that's another review, haha). If you haven't heard of it and are are planning both buying a car and a European trip, I highly suggest you consider it. Regardless, John Hart knew I was a customer who knew what he wanted and was well aware of how he wanted to pay for it. The main thing is that he was honest throughout. I always felt a no-pressure environment. I always felt at-ease when asking questions and requesting certain things. His straight forward approach made sure you NEVER felt foggy about anything, you knew exactly what you were getting into. He is very experienced on the traditional delivery, and did admit he was somewhat knowledgeable about the European Delivery. But he did make sure, that if he didnt know the answer to my question, he would find out an get back to me. And get back to me he did. Before, during and now even after the delivery process he has been right on point communicating with me and getting back to me when I have questions. Mind you, he is a super busy guy, always running around. So impressed am I with his level of professionalism, diligence and comradery that I suggested his name to everyone I meet that is interested in getting a new car, even if Mercedes is not in their minds. There were a few other dealers I went to before meeting John at MB Manhattan. And you could tell those other dealers were giving you BS to create an illusion of a close relationship, up until they clinch the deal. John is the total opposite, when you speak with him, you can tell he is being genuine and he IS definitely looking out for you. I can't got into detail how, but trust me he does. I have never felt so confident and happy about making a car purchase than I did with John and MB Manhattan. It was a great experience. Since it was a European Delivery, I had contact with John for over 5 months, just the nature of how European Delivery works from ordering to re-Delivery in the USA, and I never felt like im being strung along. It just didnt stop there. Once papers were signed, John kept up with me. And when doing re-Delivery in the US, team mates Benjamin Coppel and Jean Paul Charvet were great. Jean Paul was effective in explaining my lease papers when signing. I also have to hand it to Ben. He was thorough in his explanation of the car when taking re-Delivery and he was a gem of a guy jetting the car back to check fluid levels for me (since the European factory forgot to fill wiper fluid, luckily the MB Manhattan topped them up already) and also took care of a few details for me. I truly appreciated his help. He took a good hour or so going over the car with me, and he is amazingly knowledgeable about every feature of the cars delivered. So great was his presentation, I'd rival it as better than the MB factory presentation in Sindelfingen, Germany. Both my father and I quipped the actual car delivery experience at MB Manhattan was better than the factory in Germany (for European Delivery). But hats off to John Hart for literally making it happen. MBUSA and MB Manhattan better pay attention to this guy and make sure he stays with them if they want to succeed, because calling him an asset to the company is truly an understatement. If I ever open a dealership, Id hire him to teach other sales associates how to act! If MB Manhattan reads this, you really need to given John, Ben and JP some sort of bonus or promotions. I'm going to stop short of making this review sound like a love letter, but truth be told, it was a surprisingly refreshing and I went in there wondering how it would turn out and tense, and after the first day knew I chose the right dealership to do business with. And if you are in the market for a car purchase, I highly suggest MB Manhattan, and John Hart in particular. More
Absolutely Amazing! My husband and I came to Mercedes Benz Manhattan with high expectations. We wanted to purchase a 2015 C63 AMG Sport. We were fortunate enough to work with John Hart who is exceptional. He always made the experience extremely personal and always made sure we were happy. He really spent the time to get to know us and what our expectations were. We wanted a White Exterior, with a Red Interior with Carbon Fiber, and John was able to get us exactly the car we were looking for. This was our first car together, and the Mercedes Benz team really made it a special memory for my husband and I. They took the time to unveil the car to my husband and I. This has been the best dealership I have worked with in terms of purchasing a new car. John always made himself available to answer every question we had. The dealership itself is one of a kind, and it's worth going there. They even spent a good hour teaching me all the new technology in the car instead of pushing my questions to the drivers manual; it was really impressive and personal. I highly recommend purchasing the car there, and working with John Hart. I'm looking forward to the next car purchase in a few years :-) More

New car broke down on 1st drive, terrible service. STAY AWAY Strongly advise NOT to shop at Mercedes-Benz Manhattan. Brand new GL450 broke down very first time driving it. They sold me a real lemon. Then I was lied to over and over again about the status of its repair. The original 8 day time frame they provided came and went. Then I was told it was fixed, but couldn't pick up yet since they needed a Mercedes employee to test drive the car by taking it home with them at night (huh?!). Then I was told it would be ready for pick-up the next day. Over the following day I was told by several different people the car was actually not fixed, and they couldn't provide me a new status update yet, but I should keep trying back. After that, each time I called it was like everyone had the same script: the person that has an update (different person every call) is with another customer so will have to call me back. Over and over again - no call backs & no updates. So then I went back to my salesman (Mike Serpone) for help. After three days of sending him emails without any reply, I finally escalated to his sales manager... who informed me the salesman has left to go work for another dealership. So the salesman that just sold us a new car that broke down on its first drive no longer works for the dealership?! At that point, I requested a refund, only to be told that because of the couple of weeks that elapsed (while the car was in their garage supposedly being fixed), a refund is no longer possible! Current status: no car, no refund, and no idea what happens next? STAY AWAY FROM MERCEDES-BENZ of MANHATTAN! More

Mercedes-Benz Manhattan - First Class Experience! I live in Chicago and was in the market for a 2012 CLS550 CPO with low miles. This was my first time purchasing a car that was located in another sta I live in Chicago and was in the market for a 2012 CLS550 CPO with low miles. This was my first time purchasing a car that was located in another state (New York). I spoke with multiple dealers throughout the country but when I spoke with Andrey Pinkhasov at MB Manhattan, he treated me the best, from the very first phone call. He took me seriously, was friendly & very knowledgeable about a CLS that would be shortly arriving to their inventory, . We spent days on the phone and email (he's very responsive) working through paperwork, trading my BMW 7 series and shipping of my new car back to my home. I flew to NY on a Saturday to sign the paperwork etc. The dealership is like a car mall, floors and floors of BEAUTIFUL cars...I was wowed! I met with Andrew Buzetta to sign my paperwork, very nice guy, friendly, felt like 'old buddies' It was fun watching he and Andrey trade joyful jabs. I left the dealership as an owner of my first Mercedes Benz (was shipped out 2 days later) and the MB folder with my paperwork that read "Welcome to the Family" Andrey & Andrew made that statement true. The car arrived a few days later and all was well. It drives like a rocket, it's in great condition and is a real head turner! My MB-Manhattan experience was first class! I've purchased vehicles in "my own backyard" and haven't received treatment like this. I highly recommend! More
