I had been looking for a replacement for my 2008 Acura, and had looked at a low end Cadillac CTS and a high end Buick LaCrosse. Neither could compete with the Acura (for the price I wanted to pay), so I st and had looked at a low end Cadillac CTS and a high end Buick LaCrosse. Neither could compete with the Acura (for the price I wanted to pay), so I started looking at Nissan Maxima's. I found 3 that had both the Premium and Technology packages within the area, which made them very comparable to the Acura. I contacted Mentor Nissan via the Internet, and got a quote from the Internet Manager Sam Ewais. The price wasn't THAT bad, so I wound up driving out there to take a look. A test drive convinced me that the car drove as well, if not better, than the Acura, so that with that out of the way, the negotiations began. At this point, Sam left, and I was introduced (I hope I recall the name correctly) to Jeff Young. At this point we started haggling over the trade in. It wasn't that BAD, really. It was as if he was thinking "You know I have to do this." He eventually came up to what I thought was a fair trade-in price, and in return, I didn't push too hard for the price of the Maxima. It wasn't that confrontational, more of good natured discussion. In the end, I got a trade-in and price that I thought was fair to both me and the dealer. So far, the car drives great. I had one issue with a loose fuse, that got remedied by a call to the dealership. More

I sent email requests to a number of dealerships asking for a quote on a new Altima. Phil at Sunnyside was the only one who replied with a detailed quote. My wife and I came in and took a test drive. We loved the car and decide that the 2012 Altima was the car for us. We asked for a specific color that Sunnyside did not have. They found our first choice color and we came in and finished the deal. We started our search for a new car earlier in the year and Sunnyside was our first stop. We were really not sure what we wanted but knew a test drive in a JUKE was the first priority. We thoroughly loved the car and based on the lack of availability, so did EVERYBODY else. Well we tried out a number of other vehicles and brands at numerous dealerships and then started chasing down JUKES as they came in and flew off the lots. After lots of unsuccessful attempts, we took a couple months off of the car hunt. A couple weeks ago, I looked at a number of dealer sites and found that there were a few JUKE's at some of the dealers so out we went again. After two visits to other dealers, we emailed Matt and Amber, knowing they had no Jukes. Amber assured us they would get us what we wanted from another dealer. She called us and told us she had exactly what we wanted on their lot...about 36 hours later. We were excited and headed in that afternoon to do the deal. While we did dicker with Matt about the trade value, we knew what we wanted to pay and were able to get pretty close to that number. All the conversation with both Matt and Amber were respectful, reasonable and even fun, the exact opposite of our experience at another dealership 48 hours before. We heartily recommend both Amber and Matt when buying. More
