i have taken my car to get serviced here since i bought it. Every time i have gone back, i have never had anyone be friendly or go out of their way to help my needs. Twice i was suppose to have a rental c it. Every time i have gone back, i have never had anyone be friendly or go out of their way to help my needs. Twice i was suppose to have a rental car for repair needs, and the rental car was not reserved for me. I have yet another problem that needs attended to. Every person i have dealt with at the service department has been rude and not helpful. They don't care about their customers, they just want to get you out of their way and move on the next. I continued to go here since they weren't out of my way. I guess from here on out, i will drive across town and visit Rusty Eck Ford. More
they got me into what I wanted and knew I was short for time so they got me approved and pappers sined in less then 1 hour. Was very pleased and will go back any time. I was sold a truck with a defective emergency brake [2008 chevy duramax allison] it took several calls to get them to even listen to my concerns then the repairs were not done correctly which resulted in the chevy duramax allison] it took several calls to get them to even listen to my concerns then the repairs were not done correctly which resulted in the entire braking system being destroyed. I had bought EXTRA CARE WARRANTY which they refused to honor, after paying 1300.oo to fix them ,on the trip home the brakes started grabbing again. when i stopped at a gas station to check i saw where someone one put a long scratch on the side broke a running light, chrome rims front and back had deep cuts,and a dent above wheel well. after numerous phone calls no one will call me back.the truck brakes are still not fixed and service manager,sales manager refuse to return calls. I HAVE CALLED OTHER FORD DEALERS WHO SAID THEY WILL NOT TOUCH THE TRUCK BECAUSE I BOUGHT IT AT MEL HAMBELTON FORD.I WILL NOT REFER ANYONE TO THIS DEALER IN FACT I WILL WARN EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY FROM THEM THEY ARE WHAT GIVES CAR DEALERSHIPS REPTUTATIONS AS DISHONEST SNAKE OIL SALESMEN!!!!! More
I bought my used car from Mel Hambelton Ford and specifically asked if they would be able to service it. I was told no problem, they service all kinds of makes and models of cars. The first time I specifically asked if they would be able to service it. I was told no problem, they service all kinds of makes and models of cars. The first time I had a problem, I could not get anybody to return my calls. Finally after two weeks I was told MHF could not help and I would have to take it to Kansas City for repair. I have had several oil changes at MHF, and brake lights replaced there, and all in all, had my car there maybe eight to ten times. I have never had my car washed, and this past time they had it for several days. When I take my other car to Davis Moore for anything, they vacuum and wash it. I have had their "world class inspection" but they never caught that the car had it's original air filter that needed replacing, or that all four tires were under inflated. I do not recommend this place for anything. More

We bought a gently used Ford Edge in April. There was a scratch on some body moulding. Our sales person, Zach Oakes, ordered a part to replace it. We took the vehicle in to have the part replaced. The vehicle looks as good as new. Jim, in the service department, and everyone in the dealership were so friendly and accommodating. It was a very good experience. We recommend Mel Hambleton to anyone who is thinking of buying a new car. More
Shawn in the Service department provide top notch customer service. Back in June my husband brought in my Edge due to a oil leak problem and Shawn informed him what the problem was along with getting customer service. Back in June my husband brought in my Edge due to a oil leak problem and Shawn informed him what the problem was along with getting us taken care of with a rental car while it was in the shop. My Edge is back in the shop today for a issue and once again Shawn took care of explaining what they think is the issue and that they would put me in a rental and contact me once it the issue is discovered. He provided me his business card and verified a good contact number for me. In the last 8 years I have never had a bad experience in the sales department and will continue to drive across town to have my car taken care of.
