This was my first purchase from Mel Hambelton, and the experience was excellent. I had visited the lot on several different Sundays, and pretty much knew exactly what I wanted, but running into Todd Willi experience was excellent. Todd was great from the first greeting until the final goodby when my wife drove away in our new 2010 Escape. He was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the vehicle's of which I was interested, and answered every question that I could think of, and then some. Taking a test drive with Todd was like taking an enjoyable ride with a good friend, and the whole sales purchase experience itself could not have gone better. The 2500.00 Ford rebate and Mel Hambelton's Tires for the life of the vehicle when serviced with them, certainly helped my buying decision. Todd's followup calls after the sale, just showed again how much they really care about their customers. Gabe in Finance worked to get me a finance interest rate that I felt was fair, and I certainly appreciate his open and honest efforts to move everything along as quickly as possible. I've worked for KAKE-TV for almost 38 years and have met many different sales people, advertisers, and seen millions of car commericals, but I must certainly say that my hat is off to Mel Hambelton, and Todd Williams, he's got to be one of the best people working at Mel Hambelton, not just because of his salesmanship abilities, but because he's a genuine good person, someone you'd by glad to sit down and talk with and have as a friend. When you walk into Mel Hambelton's showroom, and you're looking for help, I'm sure there's many a good salesman on staff to assist, but if you're looking for someone who feels just like a good friend, then ask for Todd Williams. I visited several dealerships in the Wichita area. When I visited Mel Hambelton Ford, I had to look no further. I traveled 2hrs to this dealership and it was worth every minute. I knew what I wanted and James, my sales associate worked very hard to get me what I wanted. (savings) Shaun in Finance was awesome also! I went in there with an approval from my bank with a certian interest rate, and he worked to get me a lower interest rate, almost 2% lower.(another savings) That's top notch service! They did not benifit from helping get me a lower interest rate, but he worked to do just that! I received a call from Shawn in the service department the day after to make sure that I was satisfied with my purchase and to inform me that the first oil change was on them! (another savings) I told my friend about the extended warranty I purchased, and he did not believe me when I told him what all I got with it! Ford has really stepped it up for the benifit of the the customer! I've been a Ford owner for almost five years now and they continue to awe me! Taking my shopping experience from the internet to the dealership was the best experience with the Reps over at Mel Hambelton Ford!! I would definately reccommend their business to any one on the hunt for a new/used automobile! I just wish I had some one reccommend them to me before I wasted my time at other dealers! More
I walked in a bit aprehensive after past experience with MHF. I was looking for my "Needle in a Haystack car"..i didn't know what I wanted except, low miles, my price range and still had a manufacture warranty. John called to say he found my car the next day, I showed up on a extremely busy day, he placed me in the hands of Alan. Though I had 3 salesmen helping me I am extremely pleased with this purchase.. I love my 2009 Ford Focus and am proud to say you guys found "My needle in the haystack"..thank you so much for all you do! More
