My wife and I,spent all day shopping at numerous dealerships. At the other dealerships we were treated as second class citizens because we had a limit of what we wanted to spend. We finally went to dealerships. At the other dealerships we were treated as second class citizens because we had a limit of what we wanted to spend. We finally went to Mel Hambelton feeling like they were going to treat us the same way. We were mistaken. They were GREAT!!!!!! They took us to cars that were in excellent condition, not junk like some other dealer i.e. Rusty Eck. Mir Rahman was GREAT, he worked with us from the first minute. Mir and his "boss" gave us more for our trade than any other dealership even thought about offering and we bought there and then. We then went to the finance office, we were assuming that they would try to hard sell us on every kind of warranty under the sun. We were mistaken again. Bret Bowman was GREAT also. He explained everything to us, and accepted our answer without talking down to us or making us feel inadequate. All in all it was a great car buying experience and my wife and I wouldn't hesitate a second to recommend them to anyone!!! Thanks again Mir Rahman and Bret Bowman. More

We ended up purchasing a 2011 Ford Fusion and have been extremely pleased with it's performance since the sale. My wife even remarked that the gas gauge has not moved off "full" since we bought it and we have driven it now for three days. We purchased a 4 cylinder for economy purposes and have been very impressed with the performance of the small engine. Well traded my explorer in and once again very pleased. Jon Jackson helped us find another great car. We weren't pressured or lead in anyway. He made helpful suggestions and gave honest input. He was very patient with us as we decided what to get (thought we wanted an Escape but decided on another Fusion instead). He wanted to make sure what we got fit out budget. He was very personable and a joy to work with. Shawn Matthew is a miracle worker. We wouldn't have been able to get a second car without his magic. Now we have two new cars with warranty, maintenance, and gap insurance for pretty close to what we were paying before without that coverage. We look forward to working with Mel Hambelton's staff for years to come. It's always nice to go get your car serviced and feel like your visiting a friends house. More
Fantastic! Fantastic! The General Manager, Phil Nightingale, went above and beyond what was expected. Phil listened to exactly what we wanted. Rather than sell us an Edge off his lot, he found on Nightingale, went above and beyond what was expected. Phil listened to exactly what we wanted. Rather than sell us an Edge off his lot, he found one that had all the features we wanted and it did not include features that we did not want. We got an excellent trade-in price on our old vehicle and a great price on the Edge. The entire staff was very professional and also very friendly. No high pressure sales tactics at this dealership! We visit Mel Hambelton to see if we could trade in our brand new Suzuki we had for 3 months. The Suzuki dealership damaged it when washing it and refused to repair it under warranty (the paint was blister brand new Suzuki we had for 3 months. The Suzuki dealership damaged it when washing it and refused to repair it under warranty (the paint was blistering). Mel Hambelton took our trade for as close as you can possibly get to pay off on a new vehicle $200-$500 less than what we owed. They also got us a 1.9% interest rate (we were initially promised about a 6.9%). The Suzuki dealership initially promised 10% and ended at 17.4%. So with that being said we were able to get a $24,000 car for the same price as a $13,000 Suzuki and we got a extended warranty for a little more than we were paying for the Suzuki alone. Another plus our insurance rate is cheaper for the Ford Fusion than for the Suzuki SX4. So all in all we got a better car, better warranty, and better service for pretty much the same price!! I can't wait to trade in my Ford Explorer with them!! More

He was also understanding with my situation and never made me feel pressured or like I was just a number. The finance department was awesome to deal with and the whole experience was far different than I had ever had with any car dealership. BJ even delivered my vehicle to me at work! I went to MH because my husband purchased his truck there in 2009, and his experience was the same one I had 2 years later. More
