It was the smoothies and quickest finance session I ever had. He was very informative and I love the no pressure approach he uses. I can’t thank these guys enough. Was in a deadline for a vehicle and they stayed late to make sure I had the right vehicle I wanted and the finance plan that worked for me. I have tired other dealerships in town, but Mel Hambelton puts them all to shame with their amazing knowledge and service. More

I was promised to be able to buy my explorer back to give to someone without a vehicle. That was a lie. They used it for a draw in for the black Friday. It was in excellent condition with only 98,000 original miles. I lost my job 1 week before Christmas and went back to MH for help since I had just purchased my truck. I was S.O.L .I will be trading the truck to a different dealership. It will draw questions with it parked for sale on a competitor's sales lot.Im 65 years old and have purchased several new vehicles over the years between Mel Hambelton and Rusty Eck Ford. I'm now done with Ford. More

I have been in the market for a new F-150 for nearly two years. I had the privilege of working with Rudy. From the moment I shook his hand on the lot I felt at ease and in no way under any pressure. He was years. I had the privilege of working with Rudy. From the moment I shook his hand on the lot I felt at ease and in no way under any pressure. He was extremely knowledgeable in the process and highly professional from beginning to end. Even though I knew exactly what I wanted, he still took the time to show me two other trucks which offered other options and amenities I never would have considered otherwise. He felt more like an educator rather than a sales representative. He was courteous and in no way pushy. He continuously asked me if I needed anything whether it were snacks or beverages. From start to finish, Rudy demonstrated that he is a true professional and customer oriented leader within this organization. Unfortunately, Rudy was not the only individual I had to deal with the date of my purchase. After the cash deal was made, I was lead to the finance department where I was introduced to James. I have to admit, I am shocked that James has an overall 5 star review on this website. At no point did I feel I was getting even a 1-star level of customer service from him. From the moment I stepped into his office I felt like an inconvenience. On two separate occasions he indicated he wasn't even supposed to be working as late as he was and that he just wanted to go home. This made the entire transaction feel rushed and as if I were just another number to him. When I asked if he had a phone charger I could borrow in order to have enough battery life to download Ford Pass he responded with, "I do, but I'm using it". (This caused me to have to drive all the home just to get my charger then come all the way back to the dealership to have the other staff show me how to install Ford Pass.) Furthermore, when I declined to purchase an extended warranty I felt belittled when he stated in a passive aggressive tone, "It's your money." The final moment of frustration was when I asked for a copy of the Gold Standard Checklist and he refused to provide one and stated, "We will mail it to you with your title and if you need it sooner, you can get it online". Had I not already spent 5 hours at the dealership, I likely would have walked out after my interaction with James. I understand that we all have bad days, however, when you are in a customer-centric line of business where an individual is writing a check for tens of thousands of dollars to your company when the exact vehicle is available 13 miles east, it is important to never show it, especially multiples times over. Having been in customer service for over 15 years, I would be repulsed and beyond embarrassed if I found out one of my employees treated a customer the way James treated me. As much I wanted to leave a 2-star review to emphasize how poorly the final phase of my truck purchase went, I continually remind myself of my experience with Rudy and how enjoyable and professional he was to work with. This is what lead me to leaving the overall 3-star review. It is my hope that James was truly just having a bad day and that his ratings on this site are indicative of his true customer service skills, unfortunately for me, I missed out on those skills the day of my purchase. Ultimately, my next purchase will be from Mel Hambelton, however, I will request to have a different finance department representative to ensure my experience is flawless from beginning to end. More

After a few conversations with him I felt that he was being deceptive in representing the vehicle he was attempting to sell me, As I felt no confidence in his approach I ended the call. I called back and asked to speak with the GM Phil Nightingale the operator ask me to hole. Mr. Brogdan picked up the phone and stated that Mr. Nightingale does not speak to the public and that he handled his business. I asked to leave a message for the GM and again I was informed he does not return calls. Very disappointed in the lack of service. DA More
