Character seems to in fact have a price… I recently purchased a BMW X5 M50i from this dealer, and my experience has been frustrating, to say the least. Shortly after taking the car home, I realized the purchased a BMW X5 M50i from this dealer, and my experience has been frustrating, to say the least. Shortly after taking the car home, I realized the sunroof didn’t work, which was already concerning. Then, within days, I discovered that the front brakes were completely worn out and needed immediate replacement. I decided to take the car to my local BMW dealer, where I paid to have both the brake pads and rotors replaced. When I contacted the dealer about the brake issue, they informed me that they could have replaced the brakes (for a fee) if I had returned the car to them ”…that the owner was simply unwilling to pay another dealer for the repair.” However, if they didn’t catch the brakes’ condition during their inspection before selling the car, why would I trust them to perform the replacement properly after the fact? Their apparent disregard for such a critical system certainly raises concerns about their attention to detail and overall commitment to customer safety…to say nothing of their lack of commitment to customer satisfaction. As for the sunroof, they offered to clean and inspect it but couldn’t guarantee that they would cover the cost of any necessary parts. This is yet another issue that should have been caught during their pre-sale inspection. Overall, I’m very disappointed with the lack of attention to detail and the poor service. For a dealership selling luxury vehicles, I expected a higher standard of quality control and customer care. I won’t be returning for future purchases or service and would advise others to exercise caution when buying from this dealer. More
We were very disappointed. This is the fifth Mazda we have owned and the 2nd we purchased from Mears Mazda Lubbock, TX. We bought a 2022 CX-30 in Dec of 2022 brand new. We purc This is the fifth Mazda we have owned and the 2nd we purchased from Mears Mazda Lubbock, TX. We bought a 2022 CX-30 in Dec of 2022 brand new. We purchased an extended warranty and took it in for the 2nd time yesterday for a humming sound coming from the vehicle when driving. They told us it was going be over $700 to fix it because we had "hit a curb or something". The care is rarely driven and only has 17,000 miles on it. They said it would not be covered by our warranty. This is the 2nd time they were troubleshooting this issue. This will be the LAST Mazda we purchase for sure. I highly discourage you from using this dealership as they cannot be trusted to honor their word. This was the 2nd very poor service experience we had here. More
Mazda is a great car. Financing department - they don't have one on site; but the interface is aweful. Service department very disorganized. So - a mess even if mechanics are good. Toyota aevice and transparency on financing is better. I like my mazda but unless I move to Korea, I'll never buy one again. More
The sales manager and sales persson are not committed and DOESN'T have sense and valuea of accountability. The free car wash at them is at your own risk. But the salesman who drove my car inside the car wash make my car have A scratch and dent. And the manager said they are not responsible for it as it written on the guidelines. But thats crazyy and xxxxing xxxxxxxx. because the employee is the one make the damage and to make car and doesn't do anything to help me. Very bad experience with this dealership. More
We wanted to give our praises to sales rep Thomas Boothe and Jude Greene. Thomas was professional and to the point without being pushy. He made us aware of things we didn’t even know a car can do. We highly recommend both of them! More
Have bought 3 vehicles from this dealership in the past. This time was not good in my opinion. I came in with my financing already approved and my interest rate set. When we were signing the finance paperwork, they tried to place my loan with Amarillo National Bank at an interest rate over 1% higher than my approved rate I came in with from a different credit vendor. When I pointed this out they had to redo the paperwork. I assume they have some deal with Amarillo National Bank and would get some type of kickback by using them. Just sucked they tried to stick me with a higher interest rate. Took over 3 months to get my license plate holder. Salesman said he would personally take care of it. Never heard from him again. Got the commission and ran. After 5 trips to the dealership inquiring on the status, they told me it was never ordered. They told me to deal with the parts department myself and they would order it. The decline in customer service is sad to see. They are wonderful when you are there to buy. They just suck after the sale. More
