Karen Klaassen has been a great sales agent and she has been helping me since 2003 buying cars. My entire family owns Lexus and she has done a fantastic job each time I have bought/leased a new car. I was going to buy my 4th Lexus from Meade until it was uncovered that the deal they were giving me was not the best deal I could get and once they agreed to lower the number in the 11th hour after they ma uncovered that the deal they were giving me was not the best deal I could get and once they agreed to lower the number in the 11th hour after they made me give the paperwork from that dealer to them they were telling me I could pick from two colors (black and white) and in the last minute after I told them I was going with the Ann Arbor dealer because they would get us grey the sales lady went ballistic calling my wife trying to make her feel bad, texting us telling us how bad of people we are and how we wasted her time, emailing us, and calling our cell phones repeatedly till we picked them up to tell us how wrong we were and that she could get us grey if we told her that is what we wanted. It got so bad in my final call with her since she kept calling my cell phone until I would pick up I just had to hang up the phone on her. Even after I explained why we did what we did which was simple, better price and the color we wanted she still could not accept it and to top it all off three days after (we advised her on Friday no go) I found the email below in my in box Monday morning from her. As you will see she is basically telling me never to come back to the dealership for anything which was even more pathetic since my family and I have 4 Lexus cars. Buyer beware she was nice and sweet until you tell them something they don’t like and then the truth comes out which in my case was 1. She did not give me the best deal when she said she was and 2. She said if I wanted grey and told her so she would have gotten grey. Instead she used hard ball, unorthodox negotiation tactics to try to box us in to a car color we decided we did not want and is now telling me never to come back to the dealership for anything. My experience with the service department has always been great but this sales lady Karen is a total trip! Scott, I am glad you choose price over quality service. I hope you enjoy your new relationship with Ann Arbor. I am glad they have pickup and delivery service so you can take all of your cars there for service. I worked hard to earn your business and it is not just sales but professionalism that should earn business.
