When it comes to buying a car, my experiences have been mediocre at best. That is until I bought a Lexus RX-Sport from Mr. Jackson Cheng. I had phoned earlier for an appointment and was scheduled for a v mediocre at best. That is until I bought a Lexus RX-Sport from Mr. Jackson Cheng. I had phoned earlier for an appointment and was scheduled for a visit with Jackson. And as usual, I was indifferent when I entered the dealership at 3 pm on Tuesday, May 28th 2013. Jackson was waiting and immediately greeted me with confidence, yet respect. With a prompt, complimentary offer of cold bottled water, he was onto business. "I want you to test drive multiple cars Mr. Singh, and only after driving will you know what's right for you." Not once did he ask the proverbial "So,.....What's your budget .... or .... What are you driving?" He truly wanted the right car for me. So there we started test driving car after car. GS, ES, RX, and finally the RX-sport it was. I had already driven the RX, yet Jackson insisted the "drive experience may be different for the RX-Sport," and he was correct! It was a lot different. A perfect different! You see, I have two small children and finding the right mix of sportiness and roominess was a must for me. I had test driven Fords, Acuras, Chevys, and done a weekend-drive-thru parking lots of Infinitis, Mercedes and BMWs. And as usual of my "dealer experiences" from the past years, I left those lots with an overwhelming outlook. After selecting the RX-Sport, Jackson introduced me to Mr. Chuck VanGorden. Now, let me take a deep emotion breath and explain to you that this man is one among 100,000. No actually in car sales, he may be the one among one million. Again, Chuck presented himself in a calm, cool, friendly manner. He sat down an showed me five different ways to purchase the car. You read that correctly, five different ways to purchase a car; who'd ever thought! Then he went on a discourse of pro's and con's about each. At one point, I was so impressed I actually stopped and asked him, if "I could do an iphone recording" of his explanation. He agreed and went on with the exegesis. Then he gave me his card, just in case I was interested in round two. After coming home that day and presenting the research to the Chief Operating Officer (my wife), I had made up my mind to purchase the car from Meade Lexus of Lakeside. The COO went on diatrades and critiques but I insisted she meet Chuck and Jackson. Unfortunately, she is a working woman and never ended up meeting the guys. I stopped by on May 30, 2013 and purchased up my new RX-Sport. It has been nothing but a delight. I feel at ease knowing that I have a great car; and I have the support of honest people like Chuck VanGorden and Jackson Cheng, just.....in.......caaaaase....life events and future plans change.
