I took my truck in for a recall/computer update. This was a scheduled appointment and was supposed to take an hour, but they suggested I’ll leave it since their Internet connection wasn’t very good. They never called me so I called to check on my vehicle on Tuesday. The receptionist was very nice and said she would find out about my truck and call me back. She did not. On Wednesday I called back at 10:30 in the morning and the receptionist told me that someone would call me later that day. At two, I got a call from a service guy who said that my last name was the same as somebody else else’s who is getting work done, and they notified the other person that they were really backed up. My truck was not ready on that day either. On Thursday I was able to pick up my vehicle. What is really ironic is that the day I dropped off the vehicle I asked that the general manager give me a call so I could commend them. Service had gone well the time before, the lot was full of new vehicles and there seemed to be great activity around the dealership. The receptionist said she’d have him call me. I never have heard from him. More
Waiting area is clean and the complimentary refreshments are a nice addition. My visit was for the first 5k mile service. My truck right at 4900 miles. I did this out of habit. The dealer only changed the oil and added a sticker to remind me of service due at “9898”. Contrary to the sticker that also reads to “change your motor oil and filter every three months or 3,000 miles”. The sticker is also contrary to the owners manual Maintenance Schedule. The owner’s manual identifies the 7,500 mile mark for service (oil&tire rotation). The manual also lists several case-by-case triggers for service (e.g. display messages). I guess my 5 stars is saying “great job at changing my oil”.(no tire rotation though) My lengthy comment is pointing to inconsistency in the staff’s knowledge of when service is required and what actions are required. I would have preferred they save me the hour of time by saying “oh you’re only at 4900. We recommend you come back at 7500 and we’ll do the service then. Unless you have a specific concern with the truck’s performance. Any problems?” This makes me think, if I go back at 9898 per the sticker…I’LL miss the tire rotation “7500 mile” scheduled event. I guess that would be disappointing if it sabotages some warranty benefit. (I guess I’ll read more into that later.) More

The service department is pitiful, we sent the truck in for oil change and a bumping under the passenger side back end and it wasn’t fixed.
