Recently acquired a 2018 Bolt from my cousin and dealing with the battery recall issue. recently took the car into to McLoughlin for the latest recall computer upgrade, and was pleased to find that they we with the battery recall issue. recently took the car into to McLoughlin for the latest recall computer upgrade, and was pleased to find that they were routinely replacing batteries in recalled 2017 &2019 Bolts and when my 2018 was announced they clearly would have the established experience to do a good job. That coupled with no problems with the computer upgrade was reassuring to me for the much bigger step of Bolt battery replacement. More

No one was overbearing; everyone was helpful, friendly, and communicative. The waiting area is clean and homey, and the outside seating is divine on a sunny day. My repair was a simple fix of an error made by another repair shop, but when I drove away and got the check engine light, I turned around and went back. They took my car back in, conducted another test, reset the fuel mix, and cleared the code. My initial diagnosis fee covered this additional work -- no extra charges. I realize that cannot always happen, but it was nice to get to the bottom of a many-month engine problem with two trips, one day, and one charge. Thank you -- I will be back. More
