November 2022 I bought a 2016 van that broke down two days later, they replaced the car with a 2018 van but I had to pay extra. I have had the car for two months now and the driver window fell down. Bait & Switch - I scheduled an appointment to see one car that we had found online. I messaged the salesman hours before to find out if we could come a couple of hours earlier and was told that was perfect. that we had found online. When we walked in, they asked if there was anything we were interested in. I told them that I had scheduled an appointment to view a particular car only to be told "that's my bad, I sold it this morning. Is there anything ese you'd be interested in?". They knew they had sold it when I messaged them that we'd be coming earlier than expected and didn't have the decency to let me know. And to top it off no apology, just trying to sell me something more expensive and something that didn't even resemble what we were looking for. So, if you're looking for a company with poor communication skills, no scheduling etiquette and lack of common courtesy then this is your place to go. As for me, I'll never step foot on another McLarty dealership lot. More

I have been a loyal buyer from Everett Chevrolet down the road for the past several years. Bought several. Called yesterday on a deal for my wife. They lowballed me and would not budge. I called a friend at McClarty who put me in touch with Mr Dewayne Cox. He shot me straight and wasted no time getting to the numbers I needed. No haggling no circles. Cut and dry fast and respectful. Him and Mr Jordan stayed after closing hours to finish up our deal missing out on their own affairs and for that my wife and I feel terrible, but at the same time we want to share our admiration and thanks and praise to these two committed businessmen who sacrificed their personal time for us. Very thankful that there are still people in the business with the older mindset and mentality that don’t have time for the games and gimics we have run into at so many other places. My experience here has been very stressful and negative. I feel lied to, manipulated, and discarded. I sold my Tacoma to them on the 22nd. with the intent of buying another one as well. They told me it would take 2-3 weeks for the remainder of my check from the sale. Over night they raised the price that was ON the car and discussed the night before by $5000. I refused and didn't buy. So now I have been 40 days almost 6 weeks waiting on my check from the sale. They have my truck but have not paid me. Only one person there has been helpful but I feel some of her replys are forced by management. It is very hard for me to accept its the mail when I own a business and use the same mail often. It is hard for me to understand why the dealer can not or will not pay me. We pay our payments monthly but they can't pay me in a month. They won't implement anything to make me whole. It is simple cut a check. Do not sell to this company and do not buy from this company if you don't want to be manipulated, pushed off, or pacified. Monday I am seeking legal action over this based off visits to the Attorney General and BBB. More
