McLarty’s price for Frontier was competitive compared to those I found on autotrader.com within a reasonable driving distance. Settled on a price that was a few hundred dollars higher than my ideal. Not bad, but just high enough to be frustrating. Sales manager, can’t remember his name, was a little bit difficult. First couple interest rates were absolutely ridiculous (even for today’s standards). Settled on a rate a little higher than what AFCU offered because I would “lose any incentives if not financing through Nissan”. xx line and I would have walked away at that point except my current car was barely driveable. Jordan in finance is a cool dude. Made his warranty pitch but wasn’t pushy. Negotiation experience would have been less frustrating had I been in a better position to walk away. But overall it was a positive experience and I will consider McLarty in the future. More

November 2022 I bought a 2016 van that broke down two days later, they replaced the car with a 2018 van but I had to pay extra. I have had the car for two months now and the driver window fell down. The warranty they sold me does not cover the fix and it’s going to be $950 to fix plus the diagnostic. Bait & Switch - I scheduled an appointment to see one car that we had found online. I messaged the salesman hours before to find out if we could come a couple of hours earlier and was told that was perfect. that we had found online. I messaged the salesman hours before to find out if we could come a couple of hours earlier and was told that was perfect. We drove an hour and a half (1-1/2) to this dealership. When we walked in, they asked if there was anything we were interested in. I told them that I had scheduled an appointment to view a particular car only to be told "that's my bad, I sold it this morning. Is there anything ese you'd be interested in?". They knew they had sold it when I messaged them that we'd be coming earlier than expected and didn't have the decency to let me know. And to top it off no apology, just trying to sell me something more expensive and something that didn't even resemble what we were looking for. So, if you're looking for a company with poor communication skills, no scheduling etiquette and lack of common courtesy then this is your place to go. As for me, I'll never step foot on another McLarty dealership lot. More
