My thanks to Jon Satterfield and Dennis for making my buying experience a great one. I would recommend McLarty of Benton to anyone looking to trade and purchase another vehicle. I never felt pressured an buying experience a great one. I would recommend McLarty of Benton to anyone looking to trade and purchase another vehicle. I never felt pressured and they showed me what I wanted rather what they wanted me to buy. This was my second purchase there and I was satisfied each time. More
I was interested in a vehicle they had posted in Autotrader, so I received an email reply back from them. I responded to their email and informed them that we lived over an hour away, so I would lik Autotrader, so I received an email reply back from them. I responded to their email and informed them that we lived over an hour away, so I would like to deal remotely until an acceptable agreement was reached. I also informed them that I had a truck that I might be trading in if they were interested. They said they were and asked for the info. In my next response, I gave them the info, what I believed my truck was worth, and asked them to take no offense, but to please not try to lowball me to waste our time. Evidently they didn’t like this, because I didn’t receive a response again from the person (sales manager) I was talking to. I later received an email from a Laura (won’t mention her last name), no identification as to where the email was from or who she was associated with, just a picture of a KBB value for my vin number. I responded asking who this was. No response, so I sent another email, because I figured it had to be someone from their dealership (was the only one I had sent anything to as of yet). In this email, I attached photos of where they had posted the vehicle I was looking at for a price way over book value and then they had reduced it later by over $6,000. I also included KBB values of my truck in its excellent condition, that were higher than what they had rated it at. The value I wanted for my truck was a little over KBB, but anyone knows right now that vehicles are selling over KBB. I also informed her that I didn’t need schooling on my vehicle’s value, when they were pricing the one I was interested in over book too. She emailed me back (still no identification or anything that even showed who she was or who she was with) and said good luck with my search. I responded and asked why there was still no identification on her part. I also pointed out that they thought it was okay for them to sell me a vehicle over KBB value, but to hold a different standard when it came to my vehicle. I informed her of how exceptionally unprofessional she was. She never responded again. I also emailed the gentleman I had conversed with previously (by the way, he and her ended up having the same last name, I later noticed) and never received a response again. I have email documentation to back up this review, so anything they might say to slander or argue with me on, I can prove otherwise. This is the kind of dealership that makes others look bad. I have done business with the McLarty Ford before and it was great, but this one is evidently extremely unprofessional. I recommend going elsewhere. More
After a horrible buying experience, fast forward a week later, despite our horrible experience BUYING a vehicle, we thought maybe SELLING a vehicle would be a much smoother experience and maybe they had le later, despite our horrible experience BUYING a vehicle, we thought maybe SELLING a vehicle would be a much smoother experience and maybe they had learned from their mistakes and would make sure we were treated right the second time around. We had a new sales rep that knew what he was doing and was very fast and easy to deal with and the process of selling our Kia Soul to them seemed to be a very different experience and we were pleased. Unfortunately, we were wrong. Documents were signed and overnighted to Kia to pay off the vehicle and have the title released and a check made out to us for our vehicle. We were originally told it would take a week. We were patient but after it was about 1.5 weeks I reached out to our sales rep to ask the status of our check and we were given the run around. We were told someone in the department was out and in the hospital and apparently nobody else within the entire company could assist with the process. Another week passes by, I reach out and leave a message for Karen the Title Clerk/Office Personnel and she ignored my voicemail despite my concern & request for an update, she never called me back. I texted our sales rep that we sold our car to, several times, the message would show that it was “read” and I would be ignored. I waited another week - going on 3 weeks since selling our car, he claims that it is Kia that is the problem and isn’t releasing the title even though I had proof that Kia had been paid off. He said he would get answers and get someone to get in touch with me, he never did. I called numerous times to speak to the General Manager- I left two voicemails explaining the situation and my concern and my displeasure with everything, he never called me back. I called again another day and asked the receptionist if I could speak to the General Manager and she told me that apparently nobody is allowed to speak to him and the highest person I could speak to was the Sales Manager. I was transferred to him, he was aware of my situation, he was very short and said he would look into it and give me a call back. Going on almost 3 weeks of selling our vehicle and KIA being paid, he called me back but told me that he was given the run around and transferred all around the phone with KIA and he told me that he was told that the title hadn’t been released because “they are short staffed and backed up” and that is the only “help” or answer he offered me. I asked him for the number, I called myself, I had no problem getting the information from KIA within 5 minutes. The car was paid off on 4/14 today is 5/3 they told me they sent the check via mail from Texas to Arkansas on 4/25 which is 8 days ago and mail does not take 8 days to get from Texas to Arkansas. I called Shawn back and informed him that they did not say they were short staffed nor did they say they were behind, the check was sent. Again, I was spoken to with very little regard or offered any other help or apology or anything. I asked him to have the person checking the mail to look through the mail for our check and that there should be no reason it is not there by tomorrow 5/4. I have been frustrated and rightfully so, but I have been kind and more than patient, he didn’t even say goodbye, he hung up the phone. We will see if we get our check tomorrow. But you’ll also see our horrible experience of buying a vehicle under our Google review for this dealership. Wherever the General Manager is, he really needs to step up when situations like this occur and also pay more attention to customers and how we are treated and how employees are doing their jobs or not doing their jobs. I don’t think the sales reps or this company would be as patient and kind towards a customer if they were not paid for a vehicle or if they were lied to. If you wouldn’t want it done to you as a person or a business, you shouldn’t do it to others either. Shame on this dealership. More

It was very disappointing that every car price was inflated by about $2000 of dealer options that the dealer would not remove. Our salesman DeWayne was awesome. inflated by about $2000 of dealer options that the dealer would not remove. Our salesman DeWayne was awesome. More
DeWayne Cox was my salesman. He was very nice & polite. DeWayne did not have the usual "arrogance" that a lot of salesman have when a woman comes in to buy a car by herself. The best word to describe him DeWayne did not have the usual "arrogance" that a lot of salesman have when a woman comes in to buy a car by herself. The best word to describe him is "Integrity", or a least that's the impression I got. Thank you Dewayne for a smooth car buying experience @ McLarty Nissan of Benton. Thanks, Pamela Fryer More
No one helped me the first day I showed up. When I finally came across someone I asked about a rogue sport I had seen posted online. They drove it down the next day (about 12 miles away), so I could s finally came across someone I asked about a rogue sport I had seen posted online. They drove it down the next day (about 12 miles away), so I could see it. When my husband and I showed up, we looked around the vehicle, opened the doors, etc. However, no one showed us any of the features or explained what other trim levels they had VS that specific one, other than saying its a $5000 difference, which I later found to be a lie. I felt extremely pressured into getting that specific car due to phrases like, "were not getting much in right now," or "if you like that one, I'd go for it!" I was offered much less than my car was worth and ended up financing more than what I was initially told I would be financing. Then there was the 5 hour extended warranty speech I had to sit through, my husband had me take him home because he couldn't sit through it anymore, and I had to come back alone. Then, after all of that, there were pieces missing from my car/trunk area, the milage in the paper work is different from what was actually on the car, NO ONE EVER showed us anything about the vehicle, even after sitting in the parking lot crying for over 2 hours because of this horrible experience! I went back to inquire about the 3 day guarantee they speak of, and was told that due to signing my papers electronically, that was not an option. Even though signing the papers electronically was also not an option so it was pretty much a catch 22!! All I heard was, "I'm sorry you're unhappy," "I'm sorry you didn't understand," "I'm sorry," "I'm sorry." It was just ridiculous! Then some sort of extended warranty got added which I didn't agree to, (at least not at the cost of it anyway). It was literally the absolute worst experience of my life. They knew off the bat this was my first time buying a car on my own and I believe they took full advantage of that. Luckily, another salesman was able to get the missing part to my trunk for me, or I'm assuming anyway? I'm still waiting to hear back when it comes in. The manager had the worst attitude, they were all more concerned with eating lunch than helping anyone. I had to actually go BACK inside after 2 hours of sitting in the car (yes, feel free to pull cameras, it was 10/25/21 between 915 to past 11am). walk up to the manager and say can you get one of the 6 guys standing over here doing NOTHING to come show me how to use the features on the vehicle?!?! I wouldn't wish this whole experience on my worst enemy! Did I mention it was also detailed TWICE and still looked like someone just sprayed it and kept going? I finally just said the heck with it, I'll clean it myself! After leaving a Google review, I spoke with the Nissan owner and the he is supposed to be checking into it for me. To be honest, I'm not sure what can be done at this point in time but I am hopeful that he can get something done!! This whole experience has been unnerving I've cried more times than I care to count over everything. I'm REALLY putting faith into hoping that the owner can help in one way or another. I maybe updating after speaking with him! We'll see...... More
