Took car in for 60,000 mile service. No problems just the suggested service. Was told cost would be approx $1000.00. When paid charge was $1489.00. No one called to say would be more than I was told. I live a few hours away so all of the commun 12 hours agoNEW Don't waste your time. I found a car here that I wanted to purchase and was turned away. I live a few hours away so all of the communication I had with the dealer was through phone, text and email. On Saturday I contacted the dealer and asked the sales person Whitney Evans all the details on the car. I told her I was interested in coming down that day to purchase and she said someone else was looking at it and she would keep me updated on if it sells. On Monday she calls me and says the car is still available. I told her to let me call my bank and get a check ready to purchase it in the morning. She then tells me she cannot hold any vehicles and she can't control if someone else buys it before I do, even though she wouldn't let me purchase the car Saturday because someone was "looking at it". I then called my bank and went through the whole loan process and waiting to be approved. A few minutes go by and my bank calls me to say they have a check ready for me. As soon as I hang up the phone I got a text from Whitney saying the car sold. It was as if they didn't want to do business with me because I used my own bank. If the dealership could hold the car on Saturday because someone was "looking at it" why could they not have held it for me. I had my credit ran and and money in hand to buy it the next morning. I will never do business here and never recommend it to anyone. More

I’ve met a lot of salesmen and I’ve had good experiences at most places that I’ve been. However, nothing compares to the service I got at McLarty Honda. From the moment I walked in I was greeted at the door at most places that I’ve been. However, nothing compares to the service I got at McLarty Honda. From the moment I walked in I was greeted at the door and nobody was pushy. Caleb was my salesman and went above and beyond. He was very friendly, got me what I wanted, and the process was quick. When I went to sign the papers the finance guy went above and beyond to continue to get me the best deal. I honestly can’t say enough good things about this place, but I do know I’ll be recommending them to everyone! This is now my go to place to buy a vehicle! More
My daughter's Monday started very badly. Her 2013 Honda Pilot had to be towed to your dealership service department. We knew it was going to be an expensive fix, there was no way around that, but your service department was absolutely outstanding. I cannot say enough good things about how they treated my daughter. She says her car drives like new again. As a result, she told me that, when the time comes, she is buying her next vehicle at McLarty Honda. I told her I would most definitely never buy another vehicle without coming to you first. GREAT job, and I don't know the names of the techs, but they were awesome. The Whole Car Buying Experience Was Terrific! Whitney is a top shelf salesperson, for sure. Her tenacity and hard work helped me to find the car of my dreams. When I first talked to her, I wasn't Whitney is a top shelf salesperson, for sure. Her tenacity and hard work helped me to find the car of my dreams. When I first talked to her, I wasn't sure of what I wanted, but she kept helping me until I figured it out. She wanted me to find exactly what I wanted and to be happy with my purchase. She kept saying: I just want you to be happy. Poor Whitney run her legs off in that terrible heat all afternoon to make things happen. Well, I am very happy with all aspects of buying a car at McLarty Honda, from the time I first talked to Whitney till I finished up with Jonathon in finance. Also, Jonathon Frazier does his job with utmost professionalism. Hes is very knowledgeable about his job. Sales people need better sales skills NEVER EVER BUY FROM MCCLARTY!!! I will NEVER buy or REFER anyone to buy from McClarty.. I was McLarty Honda on Saturday July 4th looking to trade in m NEVER EVER BUY FROM MCCLARTY!!! I will NEVER buy or REFER anyone to buy from McClarty.. I was McLarty Honda on Saturday July 4th looking to trade in my ridgeline to go back to CRV. I was wanting cheaper price, cheaper insurance and better gas mileage. So I have excellent credit 700, and shouldn’t haven’t made such a hasty decision. But I salesman Darrell Taylor) kinda pressured and wasn’t fully forthcoming with all Information. My last CRV was EX and sunroof, power lift gate, lane departure, back up camera, garage opener in car everything, top of the line. So when I looked at this one it was CRV EX sunroof, lane departure, back up camera, and I thought everything, but It didn’t have power lift gate, garage opener. So I text Darrell right then hadn’t even been gone from the dealership more than an hour and he said there was no other CRV available. So I told him I would bring it back and get my truck back, he said once a deal is processed then the dealership has no return policy. I thought the buyer had 3 business days. But I think since it was July 4th on Saturday, nothing was going to be processed till Monday anyway. So I am very unhappy with the decision. He did say he had a White EXL come off the truck but was going to be way out of my price range. He said well I am getting ready to go home you can check back on Monday. I emailed the general manager and he stated that he was out on Monday, but told me to speak to Steve Brooks. When I first spoke with him I knew from the beginning this was going nowhere he was young arrogant guy, that didn’t care about my feelings. I told him if I had a guy sitting next to me his tone would be much different. I just wanted my truck back so I could go somewhere where I was treated with respect. The salesman told me the white EXL they had was with ivory interior well he didn’t even look, he all the others they have been getting in have had black leather interior so I could stay with the vehicle I had or take the vehicle with black leather interior which I didn’t want because it gets super hot, but no that was not an option. Well if the salesman had been forthcoming with all the information to begin with I would have not bought the car in the first place. More
