My car purchase experience at McKinney Mazda started out being pleasant. However when the finance manager came to inform us we had to have insurance on the car before we could leave with the car.I don’t kno being pleasant. However when the finance manager came to inform us we had to have insurance on the car before we could leave with the car.I don’t know any one that insures a car before you purchase it. I mean we hadn’t even purchased the car yet. I went to my car to get copy of my insurance card.My husband had already spoke with my insurance company and they informed us that my insurance would cover the car till we get back to Tennessee with it. That wasn’t good enough for the finance guy and he informed us we could come back on Monday or Tuesday to come back to get the car. The finance guy wasn’t even going to do anything to help me and my husband out. He didn’t offer to have the car delivered or anything else for that matter. My husband and I told him if we leave we aren’t coming back. My husband was absolutely furious at this time. Matthew our salesman who I might add was Fantastic! He went to get Wes who spoke to me and my husband informed us he would deliver the car on Monday to me in Tennessee when we sent the insurance information to him on Monday morning. Wes told us he would fill up our vehicle we drove up there and the Miata have the car delivered to me on Monday. I am not mad at this dealership by no means I totally understood their policy. They just need to make sure and train their employees on everything aspect of their policies. I would highly recommend Matthew for a salesman and he was really great at getting us the information we needed and was really good about explaining all the aspects of the car and definitely was trying to keep his customers satisfied and keep us from leaving.
