I got the feeling I was wasting the salesman time. Also the amount given for my trade was awful. I got two other dealers to offer $1,100.00 more. When the numbers didn't work out and I said I could not sp the amount given for my trade was awful. I got two other dealers to offer $1,100.00 more. My husband and I had the best experience with Lee Zednik at McKinney Dodge this past Saturday, June 8, 2013. We had been looking at the Challengers and Chargers on line for about 10 days before going to th at McKinney Dodge this past Saturday, June 8, 2013. We had been looking at the Challengers and Chargers on line for about 10 days before going to the dealership. I had also test drove a Challenger at Big O Dodge in Greenville, but that particular car had the big Hemi engine in it and was not what I needed, or what I wanted to pay for. I found the perfect Challenger on line at McKinney Dodge and couldn't wait to test drive it! I had even shown it to my coworkers, thinking "This is the car I am coming home with on Saturday." We had also looked at other makes of cars, but we kept coming back to the Challenger and Charger. We decided we would test drive both cars this time and decide which one we wanted - although we both kept talking about how nice that red and white Challenger was. We arrived at the dealership and was met right away by Lee. He was super nice and polite and asked if we had any particular cars in mind. We told him that we had narrowed it down to two cars. We were near the Challengers at the time and I saw the one I had been drooling over on line. I couldn't wait to get in it! We walked down to the Chargers and I was immediately drawn to the bright red one with the tan/black interior. What a beautiful car! Lee opened the car and proceeded to tell us all about it. I told him I would like to drive the car and after running my license, we were on our way. Right away I was in love with this car, but I kept thinking, "If this car is this nice, then that Challenger is going to be even better!" We returned to the dealership and Lee got the Challenger out for us. I was actually nervous. We took the same route as before, but something was missing. I'm not sure if it was the smaller engine, but I just couldn’t put my finger on it. The car was very nice, but it just didn't live up to my expectations. Then my dilemma began - which car to choose. All week I just knew that we were coming home with that Challenger, and now I couldn't quit looking at the Charger. What to do?? My stomach was actually in knots! How could I not choose the Challenger and if I choose the Charger, will my husband be disappointed? Poor Lee. He noticed my agony and offered to take us to his office so we could sit and talk about other things while I tried to decide which car to buy. He was so sweet and understanding. He even offered us lunch. I finally walked outside again while Lee and my husband stayed behind and talked. I looked at both cars once again (still hoping that something on the Challenger would just jump out at me) and knew that I had to get the Charger. It was such a beautiful car and I loved the way it felt while driving it - not to mention the touch screen, controls, and beautiful interior. After talking with my husband one more time, I told Lee I would take the Charger. He was literally happy for me. Lee started the paperwork and soon after we met Gene Crane. He was able to get the payments we needed and was very efficient with all the paperwork. Gene even offered and supplied me with a bottle of water. Both gentlemen were so courteous. Then Lee topped off the deal with a $20 gift card to the QT. I couldn't have wished for a better experience. I have been telling all my friends how understanding and helpful Lee was and how the whole experience was such a pleasure. I will definitely recommend McKinney Dodge to anyone looking for a car. Monday morning I received a call from Lee. He was just following up with me to make sure everything was going good and that I was happy with the car. I told him I couldn't be happier. He also set up an appointment for me on Saturday to have the protective coating added to the inside and outside of the car. Again, very polite and efficient. Loving the guys at McKinney Dodge! I would highly recommend this dealership. Everyone that we came in contact with was extremely nice from beginning to end. We had a very bad experience with Lake Keowee in Seneca SC & even though our circumstances were strange to say the least, Mckinney did their best to help me get into an automobile that I really loved & they were fair. The whole experience with McKinney was very relaxed & we did not feel rushed in anyway & Riley had a big part in that & he was honest & spot on in helping us, very professional, awesome experience! So BIG thank you to Riley & McKinney Dodge!! My username says heartbroken but that was for the other place!! More
Felt i could get a good deal over the phone. Claimed to be military friendly and would give a great deal. Would not reccomend this dealership to anyone. Still overcharged in end costs and they told me i had to get a SC tag even though i live in NM and have bought 3 cars in SC and not had an issue before with not getting a tag. Vehicles are overpriced but couldnt find this similar vehicle in a location near me. More
