My husband bought a truck back in January and in March we refinanced the truck. We provided Kaitlyn with the letter from PNC on the instructions we were given to cancel both Gap and Warranty and showing it w refinanced the truck. We provided Kaitlyn with the letter from PNC on the instructions we were given to cancel both Gap and Warranty and showing it was paid off. She advised a 90-120 mark. We received the Gap but not the warranty. Which I knew may take longer. I called today and spoke with someone since Kaitlyn wasn’t in, she showed in the system warranty wasn’t cancelled at all and the paper we provided was showing as well. So she put in to cancel the warranty and now that I no longer have the paper provided to Kaitlyn back in March from PNC it can take 120 days…. I needed the refund for both Gap and warranty to provide to my new lender by end of May or around that timeframe. I try and communicate as much as possible and always provide what is needed but it seems like once the vehicle is financed, the dealership starts to lack communication. More
