I was looking for a new Sierra my past dealership had the Denalis parked in y’all grass. Also failed to return a phone call for several days . It was a good from the time I walked in until I left. Mark Wallace was very good. He was busy when I got there and John and Jim took very good care of me. Good service. A little longer than expected, but good. I have a Sierra AT4 that had 4 recalls. Two software and two mechanical. My service person (Roberta) took great care of me by arranging a loaner vehicle overnight, once they knew they wouldn't be able to finish that afternoon. Overall, a good experience with McKenzie. Very pushy and poor new vehicle quality control. Tubular side steps were listed on window sticker but, were not installed by dealership. The dealers sales manager tried to add side steps to sw Tubular side steps were listed on window sticker but, were not installed by dealership. The dealers sales manager tried to add side steps to sweeten the deal. When approaching the dealership about the missing side steps and asked for a refund (assistant sales manger (the closer) said, “they were wondering why side steps were not installed on a Denali while negotiating the deal”. Was told that I would be getting a refund for the side steps, the price refunded, was not the price listed on-line while building a like vehicle (no price listed on window sticker), I asked to see the price of the side steps, the assistant sales manager (the closer) would not get it for me. Was charged for a paper tag but, when the dealership registered the vehicle and then mailed me a sticker for my metal tag. I told the dealership the vehicle would be used for personal use when purchasing the vehicle, not commercial. Registration decreased from $147 to less than $100 a year in December because, the dealer registered as commercial vehicle. Waited over an hour to see the finance and insurance manager and no one was with him when we arrived with 2 checks for the agreed price of the vehicle, July 2019. Had us fill out the survey before seeing the financial and insurance manager. Got a refund for the side steps (did not include sales tax but there was sales tax for the price of the vehicle, which included the side steps) and a partial refund for the registration. Having to pay interest on more than $600 in refunds. The financial and insurance manager harassed me about the paper title for my trade in because of the $89 cost for a duplicate, I finally found it 3 days later. They were worried about the $89 when I’m having to pay interest on refunds. Called to talk to the owner, I would be transferred to the managers and not allowed to talk to owner plus, no messages were given to the owner. I have left messages with the service department and they don’t return calls ether. More
