The remote entry did not work on one key and this was not explained to me at the time of sale. The dealership did work with me to try to reprogram the key, but in the end, it turned out that the key was a "dud." I was given the option to go in half for the payment of the new key. I felt this was very unfair since I was sold the car under the assumption that both keys were fully functional and not partially functional. I really had to argue this point with Jonathan (Don't know his last name) in order to get the key issue resolved. The arguing and haggling over the key was not necessary and not good customer service. I was also told that the key was never tested. In the end, the dealership finally offered to replace the key w/ remote entry at no cost to me. It was a great experience except for this one set back. More
We bought a van with a sunroof as we have to have one. When the van was delivered, it did not have a sunroof. It was supposed to be installed. Took months, many phone calls, and the owners and managers would not return our calls. Finally, I asked a male to call on my behalf as I suspected I was being slashed because I was a woman. Truly, it did the trick. Within a week, I had the sunroof (five months later), but I had to drive seven hours and spend overnight in a hotel to get it done without any compensation for my expenses. There was a xxxx and bull story about a company in our area that supposedly said we came to their facility and they could not install. True, they did say, when we called, that they could not install it. But they swore to God they never said we drove to their place because we didn't. Anyway, I am a very successful business woman and have never been treated so shabbily. In addition, the male I asked to help me listened in to one of my phone calls and said, "For the first time in my life I see why women can be so frustrated by being treated like second or third class citizens." Jonathan was abusive verbally to me on our last conversation claiming that he did not have to live up to advertising. Never again would I use this company. More

Our family came to Gastonia with the intentions of purchasing a 2014 Mazda6 and a 2010 Honda Civic from a dealership down the road from McKenney-Salinas. We just happened to stop in and look at the A purchasing a 2014 Mazda6 and a 2010 Honda Civic from a dealership down the road from McKenney-Salinas. We just happened to stop in and look at the Accords on the lot before heading out to make a deal on the Mazda. Sitting down in that Accord changed my mind, but we still went to give the Mazda a chance. In the end, we went back to McKenney-Salinas and purchased a 2013 Honda Accord LX and a 2012 Honda Civic for our daughter. The process of trading two cars and buying two cars could be a difficult process, but Eddie Jarvis made it as pleasant as possible. My husband and I both felt that Eddie was honest and truthful with us, and because of that, it was probably the most comfortable car-buying experience we've ever had. We were able to get TWO vehicles with more features that we expected. We were also able to purchase a newer Civic than we expected, and our daughter is thrilled with her car! For financing, we dealt with Roger Hoyle. He had had a very busy day, but was very kind and extremely patient with us.I had a spoiler installed on my Accord, so I've just had my first experience with the service department as well. I was very pleased by their friendliness and could tell that the service department is well run. I should also mention that we drove from Spartanburg, SC, and there are Honda dealerships closer to us, but I'm convinced that we would not have gotten the same results! I would gladly recommend McKenney-Salinas to anyone who wants to deal with great people at a great dealership! More

He was open and honest with me and helped me to get a good deal on my first brand new car. I would HIGHLY recommend McKenney-Salinas Honda to anyone who is looking for a new or used car. All of the sales associates were friendly, and went out of their way to make sure I needed nothing. And, as a customer of McKenney-Salinas Honda for almost 6 years now, I can speak to the fact that their service department is excellent as well. More
My 1999 CRV needed a seat belt replacement so while the service dept. was installing it I wandered around looking at the new CRVs. I wouldn't dare bring it home without the wife knowing about it. Anyway after we put some numbers together I told them I'd be back when my wife was back in town. That night she pulled the trigger on it, so I went back the next morning. Rogers schedule changed and in stepped Dean ready to close this deal out. Both salesmen were very professional and understood what I needed. The experience was better than I had expected with more techonolgy since my CRV that we purchased from them in 2000. More

Jasper was great. We remembered him from a first visit to the dealer over 1 year ago. We was great then and not at all pushy or overbearing. He let us move at our own pace.
