Car buying made easy!! We'd been shopping for an 'upgrade' vehicle for several months, and test driving various vehicles as we found them. The XT5 was on the list of 3 poten We'd been shopping for an 'upgrade' vehicle for several months, and test driving various vehicles as we found them. The XT5 was on the list of 3 potential vehicles under consideration. The vehicle is important, the number$ are important and the relationship with the dealer are important. Initial thought was to find a 2 yr vehicle with low mileage, obviously no rush, but actively pursuing and ready to pull the trigger if the right opportunity arose. We shopped and found many, many vehicles that would fill the bill. Then the nonsense, which fulfills your stereotypical nightmare of less than honorable dealerships, began. The numbers were way off: overpricing, undervaluing trade-in, "fees" up the wazoo, interest rate shenanigans - no, no, no and "NO". The only saving grace on those jaunts was going out to dinner together after every effort. We decided to check out McGuire. One trip. Right vehicle. Fair price on the trade-in, all incentives discounted into the price of a new XT5. Open, transparent conversation with Jodie, who stated that she didn't want to sell us a car, she wanted our business for life. She made an impressive effort to get to know us and truly understand what we were looking for. She listened. Asked direct questions, which we answered directly - we'd been through it enough. Within 20 minutes, Jodi found all rebates and discounts that were available to us on several different vehicles and deal structures. And then bang, she and her team offered us a deal that was perfect. No haggling, no hassle and no games. Straight through the front door, transparency required to build a long term relationship. When a team offers you everything that you want, and you need, there's no other choice, but to pull the trigger. Diligent execution on the transaction: texts, scans, emails, requisite paperwork, boom, boom, boom. Quick, clear and painless. When we picked up the car the following evening, Jodi's excellent service and attention continued, even after the sale was made. She spent over an hour with us to help program all of the bells and whistles of our new car, even as it approached closing time. She ensured that we were aware of the amazing features of the vehicle, as well as all of the services and benefits offered by the dealership. Sam was also amazing as he walked us through the contracts and other paperwork. Real team effort. Unfamiliar with the GM leasing program, Sam thoroughly made sure that we understood every step being taken. This team wasn't selling us a car. It was clear that they were building the trust required to earn our business over the long term. Having purchased several vehicles in the past, we can honestly say that we have never had a more pleasant experience with a dealership and their sales team. Jodi and Sam were genuine and could not offer more attention or assistance with the transaction. The opportunity to have such a satisfying experience and wind up driving away in the car that was number one on our target list, was just an irreplaceable experience. We cannot express enough thanks and appreciation for Jodi and Sam over the past 48 hours. More
