I had Lexus IS250 trade-in, and purchased a new body style IS250. It had been several years since I last purchased a car, and Greg answered all my questions and was very responsive, even responding to my emails after 10pm over the weekend. The entire team at McGrath Lexus was very easy to deal with, not to mention that the dealership was one of the largest, most high-tech dealerships I've ever been to (I've gotten my car serviced in Montreal, New England and Houston). I would recommend Greg and the team to anyone looking to purchase a new vehicle. More

I purchased a RX450h from Scott, have been driving it for a month, and have returned to McGrath Lexus for car washes and after purchase assistance - every time I go there I tell more and more people about how great Scott and the team are. First of all, if you're considering a luxury car - get a Lexus. Everything from the way it handles, to the amenities, to the smallest details - you won't be disappointed. Second of all, if you're going to buy a Lexus - go see Scott at McGrath in Westmont, IL. See Scott. He will ensure you get the car you want, at a great price - and he's really committed to his customers far after the sale is over. I have to say - 90% of the reason I'm writing this review is because of how well they have treated me LONG after the sale was made. They are truly earning a customer for life. If I had to buy another car today - there's only one place I would go. Back to McGrath - straight to Scott's desk. The entire team there is incredibly accommodating. From the buying process with Scott and Eric - to the finance manager - to the entire service team. The buying experience was great - but the service afterwards is even better! McGrath has thought out every detail. 1. When you pull in - the team welcomes you instantly. 2. They have a complimentary car wash any time you want to spiff up the car. 3. They have a great full-service cafe while you wait, including blended mochas, to fresh sandwiches, soup and fresh baked cookies. 4. There's people everywhere - you won't have to wait anywhere for service... They are always ready to greet and assist. 5. The service team is genuinely welcoming and happy to have you pulling in. 6. The follow up to ensure you get impeccable service after the sale is great. 7. They have a staging area just for their customers when the car is complete - you even get a beeper when it's done. 8. They go the extra mile - every single time - any problem is NO problem to the team. They are on it. The closest thing I can compare their dealership to is a spa. I came in to McGrath Westmont to test drive an SUV. Mr. Raymond knew my exact purpose due to purchasing a vehicle the following week. From the moment I met him, he did not have an attitude that made me fee Raymond knew my exact purpose due to purchasing a vehicle the following week. From the moment I met him, he did not have an attitude that made me feel like a valued customer. As a prior luxury sales consultant, I knew all the tricks and cues and the experience as a whole was just terrible. I was just given the keys and told to come find him when I get back. He told me that he would pull the vehicle to the front so I could stay warm, he did not, he walked me to the door and said "it's right there" and he left, it would have been nice to have stepped into a warm car in the evening of my visit. I always appreciate the time alone with a car without a consultant talking the entire time, usually asking me a bunch of personal questions in order for them to make the sale or playing with gadetry which further annoys me, however, I will request that time alone, you just don't give it to me! I liked the vehicle a lot and the price was fair, I was willing to negotiate a delivery that same day or the following days, however, when I walked back into the showroom, he was on his phone and barely bothered to look up at me, handed me my drivers license and did not bother to even say good bye. He did not give me his business card and when I requested it, he gave it to me with an attitude WHILE he was still on the phone as if he did not want to do business with me once I received my license back. Lastly, he made a sarcastic remark upon me entering the showroom to find him, "You must've liked the vehicle a lot huh?". I took the traditional westmont test drive route (west on ogden to cass, left on cass to 35th, merged on to kingery hwy south, back down ogden heading west). I was back at the showroom in 10 minutes tops, I sat in the same place I got the vehicle (surveillance cameras will verify), for at least 15-20 minutes as I further checked out the vehicle, alone, without anyone there to answer any questions should I have had any, which I did have a few. I saw Scott rushing to the west showroom door while on his cell phone as if he was in a panic that the vehicle was stolen and once he saw the vehicle was there, instead of coming outside, he turned back around. It almost felt as if he did not want to come outside in the cold. Bottom line, this was like a similiar incident that happened with McGrath Lexus Westmont when I was purchasing an 06-06 Lexus LS430 and I was doing my shopping and an older gentleman realized that I was not purchasing anything that day and was doing my comparison shopping and the older gentleman lacked patience and had a bad attitude and did not speak or provide a great customer experience, I wound up purchasing the LS430 elsewhere where I received better customer service and in fact wound up paying for $1000 more for the same car with the same packages and miles. I've noticed over time with the few visits to McGrath Westmont over the years, if no one has the intent on purchasing anything that day, I've always been treated like a schmuck buy the older gentleman that I almost always have had to deal with. It's unfortunate because McGrath has a great showroom and inventory which is why I inevitably wind up there for vehicle purchases in the past with the hope that I get a sales consultant that embodies the same qualities I had as a consultant, but each time, they have made me feel as if I was wasting their time. I purposely come in the middle of the week in inclement weather so I can make sure I have a sales persons time and they don't have to worry about potentially "missing" a sale over someone who may not be purchasing that day but comparison shopping to return back. Most educated consumers and car enthusiasts like myself have already purchased the car in their mind, all the salesman has to do is sell the customer on themselves and that's what closes deals. I've NEVER been treated like this at Lexus Orland or any of the Laurel stores (before and after their Autonation acquisition). It is my intention for this to help other consumers who may deal with Scott Raymond and a lesson for Scott Raymond to change your attitude if you want to increase your altitude in this business. Management - You're accountable for your salespeople, coach them and train them right! I keep expecting better but have been disappointed in my last few visits. Especially the older gentleman who lack patience! I left Laurel next door prior to coming to McGrath and a gentleman that was at least 60-65 years old was able to educate me on almost everything on the Q5 and other relevant Audi things that most consumers or even enthusiasts wouldn't think to notice! He was patient and didn't seem to be worried about the cold weather and holding a conversation with me and just being overall patient. More
