Joe Scala, our Sales Consultant, was very knowledgeable and compared advantages, benefits and values of different cars. He was very thorough and direct "selling" Lexus and the dealership. It was a pleasure doing business with Joe. Before taking possession of the RX 350, Ben Kruchten took us through a tutorial of the car explaining all of the car's features and systems. Again, an excellent and thorough job and extremely helpful. The total sales and delivery experience would have to be rated as exceptional. I would highly recommend McGrath, and particularly Joe Scala, to future customers. More

Joe found several vehicles that fit my parameters. The whole experience at the dealership and with Joe was painless and pleasurable. From the intial sales process through finance through demonstrating all of the vehicle's amenities, my experience was nothing short of spectacular. The entire dealership staff was respectful and great to work with. Great care was taken by everyone I came in contact with. The dealership is very comfortable and all the attitudes in the dealership are warm and faces are seen with smiles. I highly recommend McGrath Lexus of Westmont and highly recommend Joe Scala for your next vehicle purchase. More
Excellent Customer Service I went to Lexus of Westmont looking for a car for my daughter and was helped by Joe Scala. I had researched the vehicle I wanted and explained to Joe what I am looking for and the budget I had. I am in the military stationed at Fort Hood and Joe knew I only had a few days before heading back. I was perfectly fine with waiting on a purchase but Joe did a great job of making the price right and taking care of me as a military member. I want to say something about the experience I had with the dealership. Joe was great but what a supporting cast of people he has. I never felt pressured and was totally taken care of by everyone I came in contact with. The dealership is very comfortable from the nice layout to the breakfast/lunch bar in the main lobby. The attitude of everyone is "how can I help". I would highly recommend the dealership and highly recommend Joe Scala to help anyone with purchasing a new car. More
Substandard Business Practices. Poor Customer Relations. BUYER BEWARE. I am a retired Air Force officer and a current government civilian employee that continues to serve our country. On Friday, 26 August BUYER BEWARE. I am a retired Air Force officer and a current government civilian employee that continues to serve our country. On Friday, 26 August my transporter arrived at the dealership to pick up a vehicle. While still in possession of the dealer (a dealer employee driving the vehicle) the vehicle was damaged and required body and paint work. As this is not what I paid for (a damaged and/or repaired) vehicle, I preferred to reverse the sale as I had never actually taken delivery of the vehicle. I was told by Mr. Geoff Pebelske that the only option(s) that I had is for them to fix...or not fix the vehicle...but, either way it was my vehicle (though I have never taken delivery of it). Since the accident at the hands of the lexus employee at the Lexus Dealership on Friday, 26 August, I made numerous phone calls and left numerous messages for Mr. Greg Luzinski, Mr. Geoof Pebelske, Ms. Maria Giampietro, and sent several text messages to Mr. Joseph Scala. During this time I have received only ONE response from the individuals mentioned above. And, that was to tell me that only option(s) that I have is for them to fix...or not fix the vehicle...but, either way it is my vehicle (though I have never taken delivery of it). Additionally, I filed a Better Business Bureau complaint against the dealer as well. FINAL response from this dealer being, "We have gone above and beyond for this customer. The car in is excellent condition. He received a great vehicle. We hope he enjoys it." The following is an excerpt from the complaint: 16 August. -- Was told by Mr. Scala not to send transport until he had confirmation that the USAA bank check had cleared. 20-23 August. -- Sent text messages daily asking Mr. Scala, “are we still waiting for USAA bank check to clear. -- Received no response until 541pm on 23 Aug. 24-25 August. -- Requested Sales Manager information from Mr. Scala. 25 August. -- Received management contact information at 343pm. -- Was unable to reach either Mr. Geoff Pebelske or Mr. Greg Luzinski. 26 August. -- Received text from Mr. Scala to call ASAP because there was a “slight problem” with the vehicle. -- The vehicle had been in an accident while being driven by a Lexus of Westmont employee. 26 August. -- Spoke direct to Mr. Pebelske. Was told that there were only two option…Lexus of Westmont could repair the vehicle...or not repair the vehicle...but, either way the vehicle now belonged to me (though I had not taken delivery of it at time). 27 August. -- Sent text to Mr. Joseph Scala stating do NOT repair the LS430 that was still in their possession (I had not taken initial delivery of the vehicle) until I had the opportunity to speak to an attorney. -- Sent e-mail to Mr. Geoff Pebelske and Mr. Joseph Scala stating do NOT repair the LS430 that was still in their possession (I had not taken initial delivery of the vehicle) until I had the opportunity to speak to an attorney. 27-28 August. -- No response / Acknowledgement from Mr. Pebelske or Mr. Scala. 28 August. -- Requested sales, legal, and accounting contacts at Lexus corporate from Mr. Joe Scala and Mr. Geoff Pebelske. No response / Acknowledgement received. 29 August. -- Sent e-mail to Mr. Pebelske and Mr. Scala stating that I had calls in to the Illinois Bar Association and a couple of attorney offices. I let them know that I anticipated initial consults my mid-week. 30 August. -- No response / Acknowledgement from Mr. Pebelske or Mr. Scala. 31 August - 3 September. -- Attempted to make contact with Mr. Greg Luzinski and Mr. Geoff Pebelske via phone (left voicemails) and with Mr. Joseph Scala via text. -- No response / Acknowledgement from Mr. Luzinski, Mr. Pebelske or Mr. Scala. 6 September. -- I received a text from the transporter stating that he would be at the drop-off location (my residence) between 6pm and 630pm. -- Per the transporter, "The pickup was requested by the dealership after the vehicle was fixed. Jeff (Pebelske) was the one who authorized (release)...". BOTTOMLINE: All attempts to have any discussions with Lexus of Westmont were totally ignored. So, at this point, it appears that Lexus of Westmont, a dealer that has already proven to be irresponsible, dishonest and untrustworthy, would like me to take their word that no other damage occurred as a result of the accident that took place at their dealership with one of their employees driving the vehicle (before I accepted delivery of the vehicle). I was never given the opportunity to have the vehicle inspected after the accident and I was never given an inspection report of any type from the dealer certifying that there was no other damage. And, again, I point out that the vehicle was damaged and experienced diminished value prior to me taking delivery of the vehicle. The vehicle was repaired without my permission or agreement on terms of settlement. The vehicle was then rescheduled for transport and released to a transporter without my knowledge or authority. Luckily, I left the office at 5pm (just in time to receive notification of intent to deliver the vehicle in an hour). Even more so, was extremely lucky that I was actually in town and not on personal or business travel. Further, I may NOT have wanted Lexus of Westmont to perform the repair work as I have had excellent paint and body work completed on one of my vehicles at a local shop that does great work and provides excellent customer service. My preference would have been to have the gentleman here perform the repair work. If this is an example of "We have gone above and beyond for this customer", I would say again, BUYER BEWARE. More

I highly recommend Mr Joe Scala to anyone looking to do business at this location. He was very proactive while not to pushy like many other sales men, he did not tell me to much stories (some sales people tell you elaborate tales) about things I do not care about. I travel a lot and he made it very easy for me to come in and he had all the paper work ready for me to sign off so I can go about my Saturday morning. I spent about 2 hr at the dealership 9 am-11 am, which is pretty impressive if you have been through buying vehicle before. The team (Sales and Finance) were very respectful of my time. If I look to upgrade in the future I will look to do business with him again and that particular McGrath Westmont location. More

She was honest and listened to what I needed and wanted in a vehicle to find me the perfect match The moment I drove off the lot with my car I knew I had made the best decision. I really do not know how to best describe how grateful I am that Casey helped me. My vehicle is not only my weekend get away, but also my professional lifeline.
